Fantastic food and great service! Highly recommended!

Would not recommend reaching out to this company. I spoke to someone via email to get a quote for my wedding. I simply gave the person my rough budget, and instead of professionally saying that the budget is too low for what I am asking for, the person said $____ for 60 people? No sorry can’t work with that”. Highly unprofessional. I am a manager, and if that’s how you conduct your inquires, I doubt you will be able to find new clients. Good riddance.

I used this caterer in November 2025, for my daughters baby shower for a group of x30 ladies and the food was fantastic, presentation lovely, communication clear, easy and prompt. Food was delivered on time by the nicest man. I plan events regularly for work and this was personal, so when I say it was a great experience for me; it’s because I mean it. I’ve recommended Ivan to a few folks and I’ll use his services in the future. 👌

I reached out to GTA Caterer for a catering quote for my wedding reception, but unfortunately the experience was very negative. When I provided my budget breakdown (which included food, beverages, staffing, gratuity, and taxes), instead of working with the information, I received dismissive responses questioning my numbers.

Ivan suggested changes like switching to disposables and canned drinks to make the budget work, his lack of professionalism left me feeling very uncomfortable. For such an important event, professionalism is just as important as the food, and unfortunately, you will not feel that here.

Fantastic food! My guests raved about the food! Fantastic service! So attentive! The whole staff were just amazing....so polite and helpful! I would definitely use GTA again!

What a great catering company. My church event had a great time. The temperature was kept hot during the serving. Everyone had a great time that evening. Ivan explained the process clearly.

I always use Ivan. He is amazing, always on time and makes amazing food. I've used him for corporate events and even my garden party wedding. I highly recommend.

Ivan was very responsive. But I am giving the company a 1 star was very disappointed for my event. We ordered the food prior to hiring Ivan for our event and the food was wonderful. We got a BBQ menu now they offer onsite bbq but the place we rented did not allow for them to cook at the place so when I advised Ivan of that we spoke about having staff members there instead to serve the buffet. The day of the event the set up late. And not extra staff to server the buffet the food was a lot different then what we tried when we got the food at home it was a totally different salmon which was very disappointing the salad that they provided was not enough for 65 people it fed about 25 and overall it was just so disappointing I have all interaction that we did over email oh and to top it off I paid for the service and also paid for the plates and cutlery but they took that all back. I thought I had found a good caterer but in the end it was a disaster! I even so emailed Ivan to let him know and he didn’t even get back to me so beware when hiring him!!!!

I used GTA Caterers for my baby shower recently and I would highly recommend! Amazing catering company that is professional, affordable, punctual, great communication and service, and the food was absolutely delicious!! I had so many compliments from guests asking where the food was from.If you are looking to cater your next event, definitely use GTA Caterer!

We hired Ivan and GTA Caterer to cater my mom's 70th birthday. The food was delicious, no issues with that. However, one server didn't show up and the bartender was late. Also, the wait staff went home an hour early and didn't proactively offer to do stuff like clear the tables and put away the rented tableware. The waiters and chef were pleasant, so no issues with them aside from leaving early and showing up late. After all the guests had left and we were cleaning up, we noticed that the chef had splattered bbq grease all over our patio stone as they had set up a bbq area there. They neglected to lay down a tarp to protect the stone. When we raised the concerns about the no-show waiter, leaving early, and the stained stone, Ivan refunded us only for the waiter who didn't show up. He stopped responding when asked about the additional hour as well as the stained patio, even after I followed up a second time. Because of this lack of response and professionalism after the event and once he'd received payment, I would not recommend GTA Caterer.

I can’t rave enough about this catering company. I hate planning and Ivan made this so easy for me and was very helpful. We had an engagement party and the food was outstanding, that’s all everyone could talk about. The staff were extremely professional and did their jobs well. During these Covid times we weren’t sure on what to expect from the staff but they nailed it and followed all protocols perfectly. My guests were happy and felt safe. Thank you so much I definitely would hire them again and strongly recommend them to anyone else looking for a catering company. ????????????

I am glad that we chose GTA Caterer for our Company's annual Christmas Luncheon The food was delicious. Everyone loved the salmon! We would be happy to use their services again.

We tried GTA Caterer for the first time this year for our staff Christmas party. We were very happy with the timeliness of the delivery and the quality of the food we ordered. Will continue ordering from GTA Caterer.

I am Club president of Canadian Progress Club Brampton . We have used the GTA services for the last two years for our Dec Christmas dinner.All my members were very pleased with the menu provided , pricing , food quality , prompt on time delivery .We are looking forward to our 2020 dinner to see what Ivan prepares for usLarry Fenske
