Happy Cake House is a hidden gem offering affordable baked goods, including durian buns and cakes. Their famous 8-inch durian cake is a must-try for durian lovers, topped with plenty of fruits and reasonably priced. The lady is always very friendly and helpful, and the owner is a sweet old lady who is always smiling and happy to give the best service. Customers can grab a coffee and some goodies, or try the hotdog croissants and beef patty, both super delicious. The buns are just as good as the Chinatown bakeries, with all the standard sweet and savoury buns. The pricing is very fair and you get a lot of bang for your buck. The durian cake is delicious, perfectly sweet and moist, and still tastes fresh even a couple days in the fridge. Ordering over the phone is a breeze and pick up is straight forward.
