Hui Lau Shan Mississauga 许留山 Boba + Mango Desserts

I went to The Mango Place – Hui Lau Shan in Mississauga and tried the Mango Chewy Ball, Mango Coconut Bliss Latte, and Mango Pudding. Every item I tried was really enjoyable. The Mango Chewy Ball had a fun, bouncy texture and was packed with fresh mango flavor, making it a really unique dessert experience. The Mango Coconut Bliss Latte was creamy, smooth, and had a perfect balance of mango sweetness and coconut richness. The Mango Pudding was silky, light, and just the right level of sweetness, definitely a classic done well.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff were happy to answer any questions about the menu and the different dessert options. The shop itself is bright, colorful, and cheerful, giving off a very inviting vibe. Seating is limited, so it can feel a bit crowded during weekends, but it still makes for a fun place to enjoy mango treats.

Overall, I’d definitely come back for more mango desserts and drinks. The flavors are fresh, vibrant, and playful, and if you’re a mango fan, this place is a must-visit. Every dessert I tried had a thoughtful balance of sweetness, texture, and freshness that made it really satisfying.

Staff cannot speak English. My niece asked if the watermelon drink was juice based and they said “I think so” and handed her a drink with milk and chunks of watermelon. How can you have front line workers who do not speak or understand a word of English?

I've been here a few times and I always had a good experience. Today I found this metal like thread in my drink. Could have swallowed and choked on that. Staff need to be careful when they are preparing drinks.

Ordered a drink asked for a little less ice and the guy replied “the ice is fixed” what a joke lol place has gone down hill, I expect a generic AI generated response to this review too. I guess being genuine these days is too much to ask of a business, and making an issue of a less ice request is your recipe for success. Best of luck.

They got my order wrong

This place used to be nice but this time it disappointed me so much i’d never go back. We asked for our favourite jumbo mango chewy ball and it was so watery. On asking, the person who made it said their freezer had broken down so it wasn’t frozen. He could have told us before?! They are quick to take money and then offer such crap. Later he got a frozen slush type thing in a glass as a compensation which literally tasted like old ice made from dirty water🤮 it was so bad i instantly left my chewy ball bowl as well we couldn’t eat it anymore!

Do you like mango? Then this is the spot for you. Almost everything on the menu is mango themed. Hui Lau Shan is known for their Pomelo Mango With Sago as its a very popular dessert style in Hong Kong. I would highly recommend it. If you are lactose intolerant like myself, don't be afraid to ask the staff, you will come to realize that they usually use coconut milk or other coconut ingredients over actual cream. I've been here a couple of times and its always been a very solid experience.

Warning: Its very difficult to find parking around this area due to the high density, condos, and being near square one.
