My experiences at this plaza have been less than satisfactory due to the behavior of some individuals associated with this particular establishment. On multiple occasions, I have encountered unwelcoming interactions when parking near their shop, even when I was visiting other businesses in the area. For example, last Friday, one of their customers blocked my car, causing an inconvenience and said that I am the reason John Anderson business is suffering and its unfair for me to park there. Additionally, there is often noticeable tension whenever I park in the Plaza which makes the environment uncomfortable. Consequently, I have decided to frequent other shopping locations.

Their burgers are delicious but that wife of his is weird. Never liked her, she keeps staring at me like I committed a crime or something. If it wasn’t for his wife and her weird attitude would’ve gave it a 5.

Decent food made to order at reasonable prices. Nice to see they still have the Big Puck burger, 42 years later. But I always went for the Banquet Burger. I think the seats bolted to the tables may be original, they are wood and about a thousand times more comfortable than plastic. Cool hockey posters and memorabilia throughout. I’m not sure I’d call this place rustic but it’s very old and clean so why not.

Close to 8pm this Christmas eve, my son and I were overly hopeful and bolted over to JA's. The lights were off but my son and I saw the kitchen light on and optimistically checked the other door. Al saw us, unlocked the door, graciously invited us in, turned all the lights back on and made us burgers and fries. Friggin' delicious banquet burgers and fries! Too good.Admittedly, I grew up in the building next door north of JA's and vaguely remember the grand opening with an inflatable bouncy house and $1 Big Puck burgers! Growing up, JA's was home away from home for awesome souvlaki 'n' Greek salad dinners. I still remember the original chefs yelling "CHICKEN ONA BUN ... CHICKEN ONA BUN". Unfortunately, I moved up to Brampton for close to 20 years and rarely visited but now I'm back, thankfully. Heck, a few years ago, I asked Al if he had an extra t-shirt, gave me one for a bargain and he threw in an original promo button!JA's food and service is still exceptional after 40+ years. Man, I still taste that burger. Gotta get the souvlaki dinner asap. Too good.Oh, and hockey is fun.
