While the food at the ramen place was as excellent as always, the customer service left much to be desired. After finishing our meal, an elderly lady cleared our table without allowing my wife to finish her vegetables. Interestingly, she didn’t hesitate to clear our table, while other tables were left undisturbed. It felt as though we were treated differently, perhaps due to our ethnicity. Overall, while the food deserves a 5-star rating, the customer service barely reaches 0.5 stars.

Came in for the first time today. It was a very cute, small place. The service was very fast and friendly. Also very reasonably priced in comparison to other ramen restaurants I've been to. The noodles were really good. I like how thin they are. The broth was rich, and flavorful. Both of witch, they make in house. The pork in the ramen was amazing. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a Harty mealParking: Had to park a bit further down, in front of other establishments, but not bad

Last August, I visited this ramen spot and let me tell you, it's really good. A lot of people must think so because we waited for 30 minutes to get a table. I've read other reviews, and it seems like waiting is pretty normal here. The place exudes a relaxed vibe, featuring simple wooden tables and chairs. A striking manga-style mural splashes cool across the walls, creating a uniquely laid-back atmosphere. It's comfortably casual without being overly fancy, and the constant stream of Naruto on the TV adds a playful touch. The food is the real deal. I got the Volcano Tori, which is this spicy chicken ramen, and it was packed with flavor. The Takoyaki was some of the best I've had, and I can't find anything like it in Hamilton. My buddies tried the chashu and they were happy with it too.The staff is pretty chill too. Our server was nice and we even ended up talking about watches, which was cool. They're around when you need them but not in your face, which I appreciate.I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more of the menu next time I'm around. There are so many other dishes here that I'm excited to try!

Ordered the Chicken Kamen. The ramen it self was delicious however, for the price you pay they provide ZERO meat. I had one piece of chicken in my entire bowl. I don’t understand why restaurants think it is okay to cheap out on ingredients when the customer pays a premium price.

First time at Kamen and the ramen was great! Lots of vegetarian options. The server seemed rushed and wasn’t very helpful when I asked for suggestions on what item or spice level to choose. The wait for 2 people on Saturday night was only 15 minutes!

Kamen Ramen has the best, most authentic ramen and japanese comfort food I’ve had outside of Japan.I don’t live too far from one of their locations and I almost always get takeout. It gets packed at lunch and dinner hours daily, so be prepared to wait for a table. It can be a fun and exciting place to eat at peak hours, but I’ve taken to having ot as amazing Japanese takout once a week. All the broths are excellent. My personal favorite is the Spicy Kamen, the Spicy Miso Kamen, and the plain shoyu broth with roast pork and greens. I often pay for extra noodles, pork, and other items that are on a list of ad-ons.Their pork and chucken tonkatsu plate with rice is phenomenal. The meat is so flavorful and there is a lovely seasoning in the breading. With the classic tonkatsu sauce, it is a guilty pleasure not to be missed.Speaking of guilty pleasure, the chicken karaage is a must-order if you like fried chicken. It’s boneless, breaded chicken pieces from the thigh, wing, and drumstick, tossed in potato starch, then fried until golden brown. With a zesty mustard sauce, this stuff is addictive!Anyhow, this place has some of my favorite food, and living here my whole life means I got spots all over Toronto and the GTA where I know I can get an excellent meal of each of the many cuisines from around the world on any day of the week. With the ramen craze bringing lots of players to the Toronto area, it’s good to know who has the real goods. The answer to that question is Kamen, Kamen, and Kamen. I believe it has two locations, but it’s still the answer to that question three times.Just remember that its menu is ramen and Japanese comfort food - it’s not a sushi spot.5/5, 10/10 all day, and it’s one of the few establishments I give a perfect rating to. Chili Chicken House, just down the road at Creditview, is another of my favorites in the GTA - for Hakka Chinese.

Got the seafood noodles and I gotta say the half hour wait was hella worth it. Literally the only place that has stellar spicy seafood broth with proper amount of seafood. The service was good too, people were welcoming and really nice all around. I tried going back not long ago and the wait time was too damn long. But I almost did it. As for the atmosphere, it's pretty casual. Kinda busy all throughout so if you don't like people then you're dumb because the food is still bomb af.

I’m a ramen lover and the ramen in this place taste good. The meat is tender, broth is flavory for me, and the noodles is just the right texture. Prices nowadays for a ramen range from $10-$20 so it’s same for other restaurants I’ve been.
