Maharaja Bhog Reviews
We visited Maharaj Bhog on 21 May 2026 and had a very disappointing experience. The food quality was very poor and most of the dishes were not served warm. The service was also extremely slow and unorganized.
What made the experience worse was the behavior of the restaurant manager. When we politely raised our concerns about the food and service, the manager responded very rudely and said they did not have enough staff. This is not something customers should have to hear...read full review
I went there with lot of expectation but there is absolutely taste or flavour in the food. the food was way too oily. I really felt my money was wasted
Yesterday, April 20 , my husband and I along with 10 other friends went to this lovely restaurant. Maharaja Bhog is a renowned restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience with authentic Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisine. The menu features a wide range of traditional dishes, including an impressive variety of breads, curries, sweet dishes, and starters. Some dishes like daal bati churma may not be available daily, but the restaurant often hosts themed weekends, such as Rajasthani food, to keep the menu lively. The food is praised for its purity and top-quality taste, with many customers feeling a strong connection to Indian flavors.
The staff provides top-notch service, serving most items directly to the table and maintaining politeness and promptness. The atmosphere is pleasant, but prospective diners should be prepared for a wait, especially on weekends and festivals, as the restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations. Parking can be busy during peak times.
The restaurant offers a unique opportunity to explore flavorful Gujarati and Rajasthani dishes, with many customers saying they feel full but never enough. The price is around $35 per person for unlimited food, which some find a little costly, especially considering prices have slightly increased over time. Overall, Maharaja Bhog remains a popular choice for those seeking authentic, plentiful vegetarian meals in a lively setting.
