Tadka Marun Restaurant (Maharashtrian Foods LTD)

A friend and I had lunch here yesterday. We ordered the Kolhapuri Mutton Thali and a Malvani Chicken Thali. We were very pleased with the meals we were served. Each item on both the Thalis had a unique taste very reminiscent of what the food would taste like back home, the Mutton, Chicken,Tambda, Paandhra, Vade, Bhakri was very much on point. They are limited on room for people who want to dine in, but would highly recommend this place. Ekda nakkich bhet dya. Namskar.

I had one of the best non-veg meals in town at Tadka Marun. The chicken kolhapuri was full of authentic Maharashtrian flavors—spicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. If you’re craving Maharashtrian food, this place is a must-visit.
I’m sure I won’t be missing Indian chicken anymore!

If you are craving for homemade Malvani taste then this is your place. Guys brings the authentic taste from Konkan to Missisuaga. Their spices and Vatan will definitely throw you back to your summer vacation to your favourite Konkan.

Known this couple since they have started to do tiffin services 2021. There has been no change in their taste.

Must visit for everyone.

It is mostly a takeaway joint, but it does have a few tables and stools to sit. Saying that, you can just go there for the food if you like maharashtrian food. It is quite authentic and made with love. We had ordered promfret fry, kolhapuri chicken, and bhakri. We loved it. I highly recommend the place.

This is one of the most authentic tasting Malwani restaurant I've eaten at. The plaza they operate out of is a bit sketchy tho, would prefer take-out to eating at this restaurant. Prices are good, they offer delivery thru UberEats and DoorDash. Gauri and Vikas are super courteous and service is A++

Buyer beware. We got scammed by Groupon offer. I spent $50 on a Groupon as a father's present to my husband. When we went to redeem the phone didn't work, we drove there in person, spoke to the manager. He would not honour the voucher even though it had not expired. We bought 4 vouchers (we have a family of 4) and he said he would only honor one at a time. Every 24 hours even though that's NOT anywhere in the fine print. TOTAL SCAM.

Service slow. Had to ask 3-4 times for one thing. Ordered Vada plate and was also charged for it but never got it. After leaving restaurant I realized that I had ordered and was charged also but they never give it to me. We also got wrong box in our thali, it was exchanged when we told them the same. After reminding her to give water and tissues many times she gave two tissue paper and small glass of water. Taste was good. One thali sufficient for one person. Quantity of food was nice. Food should be a little cheaper. Price higher as compared to other restaurants. Very small restaurant and chairs are uncomfortable. Taste of shells could have been better.

Great place if you are craving some authentic non veg maharashtrian food.
Their Surmai Thali and Mutton Thali was amazing.
We also tried their veg options like pav bhaji, poori bhaji and veg kolhapuri - taste was good but not the best.
I would recommend this place for non veg lovers.
Staff is friendly and polite.
It's mostly a take out restaurant, very limited seating for dining.

Perfect place to satisfy cravings for authentic Maharashtrian food. Sabudana Khichdi and Sabudana vada are must try.
Chicken Vade is highly recommended 5/5 for it.
Malvani Pomfret fry and Crab Masala can be improved a bit 3.5/5 for both.
Quantity for all dishes is just right. 5/5 for quantity.

I recently visited Maharashtrian Tadka and had an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken Kolhapuri, which was rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. We also tried the Kombdi Vade, Bhakri, and Paplet Fry, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really stood out was the owner. She was extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home with her exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!

Maharashtrian Tadka is a hidden gem for authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. We ordered Chicken Kolhapuri, Kombdi Vade, Bhakri, and Paplet Fry, and every dish was fantastic. The Chicken Kolhapuri, in particular, was packed with flavor and definitely the highlight of the meal. The owner, a kind lady, made our visit even more special with her warm and friendly demeanor. It's not just the food that will make me return—it's the hospitality!
