Tadka Marun Mississauga

The food had authentic Maharashtrian flavors. My daughter misses Marathi food, but due to the distance, she cannot order it in Peterborough. This time, when we visited her, we drove to the Mississauga location.

It was wonderful to enjoy authentic Maharashtrian food abroad and reconnect with the flavors and culture we miss. Thank you for bringing Maharashtrian cuisine and culture to the community.

One suggestion: please consider reducing the spice level slightly, as we found the food a bit too spicy.

Their food takes me straight back home to Mumbai! ❤️ The flavors are so authentic, every bite feels like a trip down memory lane. The lady behind the counter absolutely rocks—serving food that’s made with heart and tastes just like home.

The taste is 10/10, the spice level is spot on, I could keep writing about how good food is. But instead, do yourself a favor and go try their Kolhapuri Chicken Thali and blow your mind. Absolute Mouthgasm!

I am been disappointed this was my 2nd visit. 1st time the Bata wada was good but pav was crumbling and yet I gave another chance but the Bata wada was salty and pav was okay. The staff is kind and good service. But the place is not well kept and I feel the place stinks a bit. Been a Maharashtriam and a mumbaikar I was bit disappointed but I will give another chance in future hope this might chance. It has room to improve. Best wishes

Tried this place recently and it honestly reminded me of home cooked food. Everything tasted really fresh, comforting, and full of flavour. The dishes do lean spicy, but the spice is balanced and super tasty. The staff are also incredibly friendly and happy to adjust the spice level if you ask. Definitely one of the best Maharashtrian spots I’ve tried.

Restaurant is more functioned as Take Out restaurant rather than dine in. There are only couple of benches which can accomodate 12 to 14 people at max.

Did order Vadapav, Sol Kadhi and Kolhapuri Chicken Thali.
Food was delicious. only downside is the order waiting time can exceed over 30-45 minutes.

We visited your branch last Saturday around 3 PM, travelling all the way from London,ON with high hopes of trying authentic Maharashtrian style non-veg food for the first time in Canada. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the experience.
There was no one at the front when we arrived, and we waited around 10–15 minutes before having to ring the bell. When the staff member came and asked whether we were there for takeout or dine-in, the reaction after we said dine-in felt a bit unwelcoming, which was honestly a turn-off for us.
Additionally, there were utensils items left on one of the tables, making the restaurant look unhygienic, and even the table we were seated at was not properly cleaned.
Because of the overall experience, we ended up leaving the restaurant without having the food we originally came for.
I genuinely hope you take this feedback seriously, because we would love to have a go-to spot for authentic Maharashtrian food near Toronto.
