Petra Restaurant is a lively and welcoming place known for its authentic and delicious food, with generous portions and fresh flavors. During Ramadan, the warm atmosphere creates a special vibe that many guests enjoy, especially for iftar dinners. The staff is consistently friendly, respectful, and attentive, contributing to a positive dining experience. The presentation of dishes is excellent, and the overall service is highly appreciated by visitors. The restaurant is also popular for special events; their catering service received praise for its phenomenal food, including the delicious knafeh dessert, and the accommodating team went above and beyond to fulfill expectations.
However, some aspects have received mixed reviews. The buffet food was considered average, and there was a frustrating delay of almost two hours for dessert, which detracted from the experience. Live performances, such as bands during Ramadan, can be very loud, making conversations difficult and sometimes diminishing the enjoyment. Some guests felt that paying upfront for reservations was a bit excessive and that the live band started too soon after breaking the fast, with the volume being overpowering. Despite these issues, many guests would return for the food and service—preferably with a request to avoid noisy live music. Overall, Petra Restaurant offers excellent food and service but may have some drawbacks depending on the entertainment choices.
