I'd been gunning for fish and chips all week. last time we had them from another place was a giant disappointment.
Today, here, was a blessing. That rare time you have a craving for something very specific, and they CRUSH IT!!!
Everything light and crispy, not doughy or oily. Haddock: light, flaky. Halibut: Dense, toothsome, fresh.
o-rings the way they should be. not doughy, or like onion fritters. light, crispy, almost tempura.
