I used to get Shanghai in Dufferin Mall and it’s so good! So I thought that if it’s the same company, it should be the same food. Not even close! I got rice with chicken. There is no chicken in this bread! I swear. It’s just bread. It doesn’t look like chicken, it doesn’t taste like one. Broccoli is also disgusting. Just get a bag of Lays chips, don’t waste your money.

Stir fried rice - meh. Beef black bean —— way too much ginger? I had about 4 forks and then popped in garbage.

Avoid the dim sum. Overpriced and overcooked. You would have to be an addict to pay and eat it; So demonstrate some will power, self control, delayed gratification and enjoy it properly at an actual restaurant. Their favorite ingredient appears to be carrot, it’s in almost everything they serve.

I ordered there combo 3 with 2 meats and 1 veggie including rice or noodles. It was so disappointed as the rice was spoiled and there meat was too salty. I asked the staff to replace my rice into noodles but still the noodle so disgusting i just ended up to throw it all. All food was not fresh and Its a waste of money to buy here!

Food was not fresh…definitely has been sitting there for a long time and was cold. Worst fried rice I’ve ever had in life. Recommend you to take 30 steps and have a burrito instead.

The wonton noodle soup was at a food court average. The spicy beef noodle soup was way too salty. The server/cook was friendly.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE I really wanted to like this food option while waiting for a Westjet flight (this terminal section seems to have fewer food options that other parts of Pearson)...but the food quality was quite a letdown. === 2. FOOD The Two Entree Combo ($12.99) At first glance, it looks like a good value by airport pricing standards. I happened to ask for white rice to save calories - big mistake - despite Chinese speaking staff behind the window, it was hard and inedible - I threw it out. Entree-wise, I chose tofu which was OK, but strangely chopped finely by Chinese standards and lacking in flavour, and I also chose mixed vegetables, which while lacking a little salt (which is fine)...was perhaps the highlight of the combo. Thankfully, I also asked for three pieces of dim sum for $6.75 extra and they were decent: the Sui mai was flavourful and the shrimp dumpling was decent. === 3. SERVICE Despite the lack of food quality, the customer service was at least nice - and thankfully in English (as I'm limited in my language abilities!). === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's a food court in the airport, so it's walk-up counter service only. In this section of the airport, you're looking for a seat in the limited selection by the food vendors, or you're looking for typical airport seating (not conducive for eating with a fork/chopsticks) or high-top tables - not great with little kids. But if you have wheelchairs and baby strollers, you should have not challenges here.
Food was horrible, no flavour on any item, all the items were thrown as a pile on top of each other, dint even know what I was eating. Not even worth spending a dollar

I'm a Pearson airport employee. This is by far the worst food at the airport. Food is poor quality but they have no incentive to make it better because most people are just passing through so they don't count on repeat business. No employees eat here more than once. Avoid this place.

Don’t go here! Poor quality and incorrect information due to which I had to pay 10 dollars extra! When I point this out the personnel only states ‘yeah well, that is what the company learned us’.

One vegetarian option, tofu. It was bland not great. It’s good that there is an option but that’s it. Overall, if you have some other place to eat I’d recommend.Vegetarian options: Just tofu and boiled vegetables.
