From the moment we walked in, they asked us where we were from?? Service was absolutely terrible, didn’t check up on us once.
Didn't give us menus and only gave us 3 plates for 5 people. The food was burnt and took forever to come.
Men’s washroom had to be one of the worst smelling washrooms I have been in for a lounge or restaurant and was very unsanitary.
The girl serving us didn’t mention gratuity included and asked for a tip on top before giving us the final receipt. Tipped 30% for atrocious service and food. Negative 10 stars.
As we were leaving, we ordered food to go and they said to wait 15 minutes, the food is in the oven. Furthermore, 20 minutes passed and no food, so I went to the front to ask where it was and was told the food hasn’t been made and they even said they didn’t have it in the first place.
Also the place just has a shitty atmosphere half bright lights half dark with blasting music .

What shocked me the most was the crowd: lots of underage kids mixed with shady, weird people, creating an environment that felt more like a sleazy underground hangout than a dining place.
At no point did it feel like a safe or respectable establishment.

3 starts review, why? Foods are not really well prepared so they need to work on it, I asked for something to bring it to me more than 3 times. Atmosphere is great and we really enjoyed.
Yalla Sawa feels like stepping into a time capsule from before my grandfather was born, with décor so outdated it makes thrift stores look modern. The entertainment was just as bad a main singer who wouldn’t survive the first audition of Arab Idol (for worst singers) and an oud player who went on for two hours straight, like a medieval soundtrack no one asked for. Service was an absolute disaster: 30 minutes just for water and juice, an hour for my shisha (which nearly made me throw up), my friend never got hers, and when mine finally arrived, it took another 15 minutes to get tiny scraps of charcoal. We were five people at the table but got food for two, and when we asked if that was all, they said yes. Meanwhile, a camera with a blinding light stand was constantly in my face I understand wanting some photos, and videos but this isn’t a wedding and no one needs a full-time videographer filming every bite and cough. The owner runs the place from what I saw with just two overworked waitresses and two guys for charcoal duty, and despite barely eating, I still had to pay plus a ridiculous $65 cover charge. Overall, it was uncomfortable, overpriced, and downright miserable save yourself the headache, the stomachache, and the regret, and go literally anywhere else. They did remove the cover charge and the total came up to 74$ which is good but take a look at the pictures food is still the same barely my 2 friends ate from it and they wanted to throw up too.

The worst restaurant I've been to in Canada. Unfortunately, I made a reservation two days in advance. I told them that we were five people and we wanted a special table. When we arrived at the restaurant, they didn't find a reservation for us. After much effort, they gave us a table in a bad place. The food was in very, very small quantities and tasted very, very bad. The service was bad and very slow. When I told them about this, they replied that many of the employees didn't show up for work (I don't know if they have someone who is supposed to have an emergency plan for these cases). I don't recommend going to this place at all because it's not worth any amount you pay there.

I visited around 7:15pm to check the place hoping it'll be with good vibes for the night, doors were closed and staff were around entering and looking at me without a single word back to me even with full eyes contact.
