I walked-in with my teen and he ordered a Meal of the Day for $7.99. The lady who served us said the total was $9.05 and I tapped my card. She said the transaction did not go through and asked me to tap again. I tapped again without selecting any option on the payment terminal. When she gave me the receipt it was for $10.38. The breakdown shows I was charged a 15% tip on top of the total ($9.05) without my knowledge or without informing me. As a customer I feel CHEATED. They say its not possible tip option was not displayed and that it is my fault that I didnt cancel the tip option. I'm repeating telling them the tip option was not displayed on the customer's terminal. So, folks just be careful when making payments at this store.
