TaZa Grill + Bar 5444 Dixie Road

I recently visited JC’s Grill House and had an amazing dining experience that I just had to share. I ordered the Chicken Burger and the Tandoori Chicken Plate, and both dishes were absolutely scrumptious! The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, while the seasoning on the tandoori plate was spot on—rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of spice to keep you going back for more. The portions were generous, and the food was served hot and fresh.

This restaurant is located inside the lobby of Double Tree. The restaurant looked good. Clean, nice atmosphere. Music and TV was quiet.
I ordered the Chicken Supreme it was great. A little to much chili oil, causing the potatoes to be as spicy as the veggies. Some might like this. I found it over powering. But it was still a decent size meal for price.
My husband had the Short RIBS. Problem, only 1 rib on the plate, menu stated RIBS, which usually means more then 1. The 1 rib was tendor. The sauce okay. The size of meal for $42, not worth it. He was still quite hungry after.
The waiter was attentive, till after we got the food. Then once he cleaner the plates he was gone. Had no idea where, but it took a good while for him to come back. Then ignored us for a bit. Finally helped the couple next to us who finished their food before us but still had plates on the table. Gave them their cheque, then came back to us.
Only saving grace was my Chicken Supreme:)

Waited 10 min to be seated, then was pointed to a table and ignored for 10 more minutes, save some time and order a pizza

Great food at reasonable prices, fantastic service, ask for Robert!

Bread is frozen then microwaved and comes to the table wet. $40 steak is half an inch thick and they give you a butter knife to cut it. Service was friendly but not good.

I made the mistake of trying the hotel restaurant!

We ordered the ‘firecracker calamari’ and the margarita pizza. Presentation was perfect, however, the food lacked everything these two items stand for. The pizza crust was the consistency of a microwaved pizza and unfortunately the calamari was the consistency of a wet shoe.

Save yourself the $60 this came to and go across the road to the fast food burger joint.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Ms. Alina, the waitress who served us during our stay. Her warmth, professionalism, and smile made our experience even more special. Ms. Alina attended to our needs with great care, and her positive attitude greatly contributed to our comfort. Thank you for such wonderful service!

This is a great little restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. My server, Amit gracefully provided service for my dinner and made delicious recommendations. Amit was also an excellent mixologist and made one heck of a bloody cesar with my chosen liquor. Hope to return soon.

I would like to say i came here for a work trip and the hotel staff have trult been incredible. I want to give a shout out to Robert and Alvin who both work in the hotel restaurant Ta’za. They really care for each guest and take their time to know you and remember your name and likes, etc. It stands out to me as i travel a lot. Stand up people and atmosphere.

Tony is probably one of the absolute best bartenders I’ve ever come across he is so accommodating! Respectful! And totally an awesome experience all around.

He will take care of you top to bottom and you will feel taken care of completely!!!

My husband, daughter, and I were up for 24 hours after taking 3 flights. When we checked into the Double Tree hotel we were greeted with so much kindness. The front desk staff even got milk and cookies for our toddler. We got a few hours of sleep and then went for breakfast at the Taza Grill and Bar. Our 2 servers Sylvia and Alina were so friendly! They were extra nice to our little girl too. We have nothing but great things to say about all the staff at this hotel and restaurant. The food was excellent too and came quickly. Highly recommend this place.
