The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Mississauga Heartland

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We ordered a variety of appetizers along with the steak platter, and everything was delicious and well prepared.

The food was flavourful, the portions were generous, and there was plenty of variety for everyone to enjoy. The whole evening went smoothly, and it was a great place to celebrate a special occasion with family.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend this place to others looking for great food and a nice atmosphere.

The Keg has always been a favourite for our family, and we’ve visited many of their locations. The Heartland location is by far our favourite! The location is convenient and not too far from home, and it’s never felt overly busy. The service is always excellent, and the food never disappoints. The steaks are consistently delicious, and their seafood is fantastic as well.

Overall, we always have a great experience at The Keg Heartland and will definitely be back!

Even though this experience happened about seven years ago, it has stayed with me ever since, and it's one of the reasons my husband and I continue to love The Keg, especially the Heartland location in Mississauga.

At the time, I was about eight months pregnant with my first child. As a nervous first-time mom, I was concerned about whether my steak was cooked enough, and I asked if it could be cooked a little longer. What happened next is what truly impressed me.

The chef came out personally to speak with me, and his approach was exceptional (I wish I could remember his name). He struck the perfect balance between reassuring me that the steak had been prepared correctly and validating my concerns as an expectant mother. He was warm, empathetic, sincere, and never made me feel embarrassed for asking. Most importantly, he immediately offered to cook it longer so I could enjoy my meal with complete peace of mind.

Beyond the outstanding service, the food was phenomenal. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was prepared beautifully. The steak was fantastic, the dessert was absolutely incredible, and even the mocktails were delicious.

Since then, my husband and I have visited many different Keg locations because we genuinely love a great steak, and every visit has reinforced why we keep coming back. Now that I can enjoy the full range of the menu, I can confidently say the drinks are just as impressive as the food. Whether it's the cocktails, the steaks, the appetizers, or the desserts, The Keg consistently delivers.

Of all the restaurants we've visited over the years, this particular experience stands out because of the kindness and professionalism shown to me during such a memorable time in my life. Seven years later, I still remember how cared for I felt, and that says everything about the level of hospitality The Keg provides.

That's the kind of service that creates loyal customers. Highly recommended. 5 stars!!!

Yesterday I went to the keg for my daughter's baby shower and we had such an amazing time. Our server was the best ever, this girl's energy and personality is unmatched.
I felt bad when some of my daughter's friends kept complaining about the food, obviously just trying to get discounts as most genZ do, I had to put them in check! Because this food was amazing as usual! Now I have never given a 5 star to not 1 company. But it's been about 2 years I have not been to the Keg with all the community involvement and supporting local constituency restaurants. Ya ya, I been slacking on my favorite place! But boy was this a reminder of how amazing this peppercorn steak is!!! Whoaaaa top that off with a nice drink and amazing server thanks Keg!
And let me add the manager went over and above his call of duty to make us comfortable.
This remains my favorite restaurant in Canada!!

The Keg franchise in general needs better desserts. My main, the Sirloin Oscar was delicious though, attentive service and cosy atmosphere

This is a excellent place from the time we walked in and they greet you to time we sat down and were from tge waitress servicing us was excellent she even cracked a few joke's she was right on par with us never missed a beep witch made it rally nice and the beer cold cold I love it the food top notch I would definitely be my to go place to eat out nicley done guys

Prime Rib on a bun was grisly so much fat
Felt rushed barely finished dinner and plates taken away and before we could order more drinks the bill was there. Was furious what a waste of a birthday gift certificate 😞
