This is one of the few historic places left in the village. It was built in 1889 and served as the tea room since 1959. It's been running by a few ladies. I used to come often before the pandemic, and it was more affordable. Now the price doubled but still relatively cheaper than those places in fancy hotels downtown.The food is ok. The tea room is located inside Robinson bray house at Streetsville. The entrance is nice and different. This is an old-fashioned building with limited seating and English style Tea. Advance reservation is advised. The staff is nice and friendly. I went there for high tea. There were not many items with the tea as I had expected but they tasted good. What a very pleasant Afternoon Tea experience this was! I’ve been to many, many different places that serve an afternoon tea but this definitely ranks as one of my top 5 experiences.To start, the service was excellent and the staff were not only friendly and helpful but very catering as well!The food was excellent and the salad was just lovely, I highly recommend the full experience and get the full afternoon tea set!
