I used to swear by this place. The food was always top shelf, but since the pandemic and them moving further into the plaza, it’s sadly gone downhill. Things don’t seem as fresh. The taste isn’t as good and fillings in the buns seem to be cut back. This could be due to the costs of making things have gone up. All I know is that I’ve been disappointed since they moved to further in the plaza.
The place is hit or miss. Never consistent. Prices are a little high. Service can be better. Staff can speak Cantonese Mandarin and depending on the staff there Vietnamese. Parking on the weekend is crazy. Clean interior. It can be hot inside. Otherwise plenty of parking. Bakery can be low on some items depending on the day. Not sure what is up with that. One call ahead for a custom order.

The poor reviews for this bakery surprises me. I've been coming here since I was a child and the quality and more surprisingly the pricing has been consistent.I bought a few BBQ Pork buns from here today and they were fresh, with a good amount of filling. The bread is soft and sweet. Note that a BBQ Pork bun is 1.79, it's meant to be a snack, not a meal. If you want more, buy two! For that much money maybe you can get a donut from tim hortons, and there's no meat...
