Wow! We found a great pub, Peters Cellars, at the inn. Downstairs in of course. Room for about 20 to 25 people , so cozy is the word. My wife and I enjoyed the beef tacos - great food, terrific presentation and service. There were few people at 8 PM when we arrived, so quite intimate. Fully recommend. And the dessert menu is great too.

Amazing food. Perfect for the town of Mono, Cozy interior. We ordered take out short ribs and a butter chicken. Both left us feeling satisfied.

Food is excellent, service is outstanding. The building is and has always been beautiful. However, the lights are too low for the electrical service which causes them o constantly flicker. This is horrible on the eyes. Also, if you're sitting at the end of the dining room by the entrance it is extremely cold as every time someone comes in or leaves all the cold air comes directly to your table. The inner doors need to be closed to preserve the comfort of guests.

We went down to the pub downstairs. A beautifully designed place. Very cozy. The food taste was also great and the only reason I give 4 stars and not 5, is because of the burger. While the burger taste was good there was no salad or fries included. Fries wasnt even available for order. I think if you have burger in menu, you need to include fries or salad.

Great place to take your wife for a fantastic meal in a great setting. They also serve a mean burger. The burger gets a solid 10.

Since this is my second time dining here in two weeks, it's probably a good thing that it's an hour away from our home or it would be far too easy to make it our second dining room. This time a quiet dinner on the way home from a long drive- Caesar Salads (really like their Caesar's) Beef Barley Soup (very tasty) for himself and the Potato Gnocchi with roasted squash and leeks in a brown butter called my name.....it did not disappoint (Is it rude to lick the plate? Asking for a friend..). Then Bread pudding and an apple crumble cheese cake (a tad sweet for me, but I left not a mouthful on the plate) just to fill in the empty spots and coffee and tea....yup, could definitely be in the running for second dining room, except for distance from home.....conclusion - a terrific meal....we shall return...

We had a lovely girls lunch here on a dreary winter's day, Mushroom soup was rich rich and delectable and the Caesar salad was fabulous, the roast chicken equally well cooked and enough to take home for another meal and the Pickerel was moist and succulent. We always enjoy dining at Mono Cliffs and this was no exception. We shall return!

The food was delicious & a nice presentation. Service was excellent. My only complaint would be the blast of cold air every time someone came in the door. Just curious, do any restaurants calculate the tip on just the food & not the tax?

Charming little spot in a beautiful area. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Tables are very close together but understandable given the quaintness and size. Caesar salad was excellent with a homemade dressing and chilled bowl. Shared tiger, shrimp appetizer, which was very tasty. Not quite hot enough and the shrimp was a little over cooked. All in all very good flavour. Entrees were delicious. My Short ribs were cooked to perfection with an amazing Demi glaze accompanied with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, which were a perfect pairing. Wife's chicken curry was fantastic and plentiful. Wanted to try something off the desert menu but unfortunately over did ourselves with apps and mains. Definitely will return. Recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience in a very beautiful setting. N&S

The first thing we noticed after entering the restaurant was the smell of sewage?! The waitress was friendly and tried her best. But wearing Jeans and a T-shirt isn't sharp enough for a fine dining room. Ham and scalloped potatoes as a special of the day so soon after the Holidays? People have had their fill of ham after Christmas. My salad was very tasty and the cream caramel outstanding! We will return again sometime.
