We went down to the pub downstairs. A beautifully designed place. Very cozy. The food taste was also great and the only reason I give 4 stars and not 5, is because of the burger. While the burger taste was good there was no salad or fries included. Fries wasnt even available for order. I think if you have burger in menu, you need to include fries or salad.
Since this is my second time dining here in two weeks, it's probably a good thing that it's an hour away from our home or it would be far too easy to make it our second dining room. This time a quiet dinner on the way home from a long drive- Caesar Salads (really like their Caesar's) Beef Barley Soup (very tasty) for himself and the Potato Gnocchi with roasted squash and leeks in a brown butter called my name.....it did not disappoint (Is it rude to lick the plate? Wow! We found a great pub, Peters Cellars, at the inn. Downstairs in of course. Room for about 20 to 25 people , so cozy is the word. My wife and I enjoyed the beef tacos - great food, terrific presentation and service. There were few people at 8 PM when we arrived, so quite intimate. Fully recommend. And the dessert menu is great too.
