Good coffee thanks for Velvut coffee grains… but very poor service… grumpy ladies… dump atmosphere… not worth the visit…. Much better places just 10km away.

We stumbled upon this bistro and it was so cute with a nice menu, we thought we were in for a treat. Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwich used a previously fried egg which must then have been refrigerated because the egg was stone cold in both of our sandwiches (although the biscuit it came on was hot and quite tasty). We also ordered chocolate milks and an oat milk, and we said no to the ice; however, all our drinks came with ice. I'm also pretty sure the chocolate milk was on the verge of being off.

On the plus side, the wrap my daughter had was good and was made according to our order and the desserts we ordered (a brownie, a raspberry square and a peanut butter chocolate chip ball) were all very good.

I was going to speak with one of the ladies there but they were quite busy by the time we left so I didn't... I truly hope that this review will be useful to the staff there and they can make improvements, because it really is a cute place.

I recently visited this café with a friend, and I can't emphasize enough how beautiful it is. All the bakery items are fresh, and they offer great salads and coffee. A delightful experience overall!

Such a cozy space. The children’s hot chocolate is the perfect temperature, really warm and not hot, and comes in a really cute 8oz cup. The raspberry squares are delicious and made with real raspberries (tangy and not too sweet) They hold together well and don’t crumble. I’m really excited to try the ready made freezer meals. We got enchiladas and butter chicken. Thank you for a great start to our day!

We asked Google Maps to find a nearby coffee shop on our drive home. It suggested Lighthouse Cafe. Situated downtown Mount Albert, it is a quaint, simple, welcoming place with a variety of sweet or savory companions to a coffee. They even carry take-out meals. It was great discovery. A unique place, with lots of character. We are certain the locals love it. Passing through? We suggest making a stop there.

While traveling through this area, we were looking for a nice place for a tea and coffee. We were, please to find this this lovely restaurant cafe. The tea and coffee were very good, but we also had to share some of the pastries available. Tasty muffins and scones hit the spot.
