We loved our Easter brunch at Mrs. Mitchell’s! It’s been many years since I was last here. The service was great, as was the food! What a beautiful day for a drive we had on our way up, too.

This was by far the most disappointing meal I have ever had! My wife and I attended a Jazz Night, The restaurant is closed and you purchase your tickets in advance for $85.00 a head. The Atmosphere and service were impeccable, The food not so much. You would think for " fine dinning event" the restaurant would have the food down to a science. I have honestly had better meals in my recent hospital stay. First course corn soup, was Luke warm at best and we both had large pieces of corn husk in it. Next was the salad of greens 3 pieces of cucumber and 2 cherry tomatoes and Microgreens on top. This was the best part of the meal. Next was some sorbet and on to our mains. I ordered strip loin beef, is was delivered cool and the beef was commercial grade beef, it was super tough. I was very thankful for the heavy steak knife they gave me to cut it. With in 3 minuets everything on the plate was stone cold. My wife ordered the Chicken Supreme, it was pink on the bottom and cold as well. Next was dessert ,a stale brownie with whip cream and cookie crumbles on top not very exciting! This was followed by cool coffee, I drink mine black so It was ok. My wife however drinks double double and after adding the cream was cold. Again this place boasts fine dinning, yet last nights dinner reminded me of a church social , though the churches food was always better.We had dinner, bottle of wine and a cocktail. With a 20% tip it was $356.00 not even close to being worth it .

Such a beautiful experience, hung out with good friends, amazing lunch, you must try the meatloaf ?, three of the four of us had it. So delicious, oh and sticky toffee pudding, the right size and delicious too. Treat yourself to a Mimosa and after a cappuccino. Beautiful ambiance. Old school house. Reasonable price. Free parking. Lovely drive. Highly recommend you try it.

Really appreciate them serving me the ravioli for dinner even though it was on their lunch menu. 2-3 vegetarian options on the menu.Maybe I am used to a lot more flavorful food and found it somewhat bland.

Excellent meal, service & atmosphere! If I could find fault it would be that it is not handicapped friendly, stairs to enter the building & stairs inside the building if you are seated in the lower level.Food was perfectly cooked & presented - our table had lobster & crab stuffed soul, trout & 1 special - prime rib beef dip - every one was delicious. Really should make reservations - seats 75 & was almost full for Sunday lunch. Keep up the great work was a pleasure, can't wait to go back!
