“Stopped by on our way to Alliston. Not sure what the name of the desert is called, but it has a little bit of chocolate, coconut, a layer of cream with a thin layer of toffee on top. Together the flavours are to die for. I think this is the best dessert I ever had ever! I bought two and I see myself in the near future driving back to buy more…And how could I forget, the pralines and cream ice cream… Absolutely delicious! :)”

“Whenever I'm in the area to go biking, I always make sure to stop in. The beer is good, prices are fair and the service is top notch. The owner guy (sorry...I suck at names) is always friendly and ready to chat. The outdoor area is very nice on warm days too.”

“There really are no words that can fairly describe our gastronomical experience at The Pine. It was more than a Chef's Tasting with sixteen different courses, it was a night full of delights to your tastebuds and flavours that you had never tasted before and that made you yearn for more. Each course was magical and unusual and when you thought it couldn't get any better - it did. The spectacular food was complimented by an entourage of friendly staff that were so knowledgeable and dedicated, it heightened the enjoyment. We commented on how it was like a dance - one that you could tell provided joy for themselves, as well as the guests. Chef Jeremy Austin is brilliant. His creativity was over the top creating the most unusual dishes that were a delight to your taste buds. This was an experience that I would recommend to all those who love food and want the very best, not only in this local area, but anywhere in the world - just amazing! Most certainly deserving of the Michelin Star they were just rewarded. We will be back!”

“Freddy opened his restaurant just for our extended family for a Sunday brunch. He was great to work with in the planning phase. He provided three great brunch options and also accommodated vegan, vegetarians and children - all at a very reasonable price. Everyone thought the food was excellent. Kayley, the server did a really great job making sure everyone had a drink of choice - even though no one had sat down yet and it was a bit chaotic with everyone mingling. It was impressive how they had food for 25 people ready at the same time and delivered to each person quickly. Both Freddy and Kayley worked hard to make our family gathering just perfect. I highly recommend Beyond the Gate. I’ll be coming back to enjoy a dinner sometime.”

“Stopped in for a tasting. Normally we roll through without stopping. I never got enthusiast over Creemore's earliest offerings. The white stout was a pleasant surprise. Light blonde colour in the glass a full stout nose and a really mouthful, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Pat simply called it desert.”
