Had the tastiest Butter Tart here and great espresso as well! Owner was fun and engaging when she caught me eyeing a children’s Halloween game. Staff sounded super happy chatting with one and other while they waited for the next local to come in for their sugar fix!

Great little spot right on Highway 89. Lots of fresh baked goods, ready-made sandwiches, and tons of local products. Friendly staff and seating if you wanna stay for a bit. Very cozy and inviting place that's so much more than a general store

If you are looking for a nice lunch spot in the Alliston Barrie area this is it. Great ambience, nice view, good food and great service. My wife had the veggie pizza and I had the eggs Benedict, subbing smoked salmon for bacon (+$3). Both meals were great and the crispy smashed potatoes are delicious. Generous homemade lemonade in a mason jar for $5 is worth ordering as well. Hit the baked goods on the way out, or have something at your table. Yummy.

Stellar tarts, amazing sandwiches, and a huge variety of specialty foods from local small businesses. Service with a SMILE! Great space to sit and eat. The ONLY thing they need to improve is their visibility. Just standing outside, I overheard a few people who did not even know what it was or whether it was even open. Another person I know has been past it 100 times and didn't even know it existed! Open sign, bigger boards. Let people know about your GREAT little gem.

I had read they were a past winner of the Midland Butter tart festival so of course I had to stop in on a recent roadtrip. They did not disappoint! Amazing! Also got a Canada Day cupcake which was yummy. Cute little store and I'll definitely stop in again.

Such a cute little store. So many interesting items in stock. Lots of baked goods. I tried the carrot cake and it was really good. I’ll be going back to try their soft serve with flavour swirls, and their pizza! There is a seating area out back as well. It is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

We finally visited the Rosemont General Store a few months ago and it's now one of our favourite spots to pick up sweet treats and snacks. They have all kinds of fresh food options, too, which have all been good. Every time we visit we leave with a bag full of stuff. It has a selection of specialty British treats and they sell a wide variety of locally sourced foods and gifts. A great place to visit!
