Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

I ordered a medium rare New York cut steak for take out. The steak was cooked extremely rare, and FULL of fat. It was not edible. The fries were under cooked as well. Very disappointed.

I would like to give less than 1 if possible and cant comment on food as the first impression itself was horrible. Stepped inside and was waiting at the entrance for someone to attend us, took them like 10mins for someone to notice and attend us.We thought ok they might be busy in the kitchen because the resuarent itself isnt busy at all to think there were no waiters to attend us.The waitress handed over the menu and asked us to place the order over the beer counter(it is for take out) so we went over there and decided the order waiting for the bartender to take the order. Guess what a random guy walks toward to the bar to place an order and the bartender didnt even looked at us or asked us if she can take his order first, though he came after us we thought of letting her if she asked but no she acted as if she didnt see us. For me when the back to back experience is bad, its not worth to spend a penny even if the food tastes good.

Ribs were perfect.
Steak with the corn was just nice.

Steak was on the sm size. (Grizzly) mashed potatoes and gravy was from a box. Gross no rolls. Too expensive too loud poor quality food for the price

Burger was fine, & the Caesar’s salad was adequate. Service was kinda slow considering how empty it was, and how many servers were just hovering near the bar. As for the atmosphere, it’s a lot like a cavernous sports bar.

Hi I just come here and server Karen K. Was very rude give us attitude when asking her to have the check before the food was out when we have been here for an hour and an half also mention the new arrivals are more important because she realized she wasn’t getting a tip from us so she decided to focus on other people and we only saw her Three times and the one time was so they could get me a new Caesar because it was terrible

I love chucks roadhouse it has become a tradition to stop at one on the way to see family and this location is no exception... waitress was great and the food was good as always... and the prices are good

My husband and I were driving back home to Toronto from Montreal. We really needed a break and food after driving 3 hours straight. It was around 7 pm. Closer to the area, I saw Chuck’s. Since we are regulars to the one closer to home we said let’s stop here. Only to be turned away at the door with the lamest excuse: “all waiters are in the kitchen so I can’t serve you now. There is Jimmy’s close by, you can go there.”! How rude! And terrible for a business…
We will not be going to Chuck’s again.
Btw, there was Sholess Joe around the corner from them. Thanks to them we were able to feed ourselves and rest properly.

We came here because it's a well known establishment and large seating area.

We called an hour ahead to ask if they can accommodate a hockey team with parents for lunch. They said it shouldn't be a problem.

As soon as we arrived, the server told us the kids cannot sit together and each child will need to be with a parent. They ruined the whole bonding experience with the girls. We spoke to the manager and she said the bills would get too complicated and it would get messy. We've been to other places without issue and most places usually went by the child's jersey number.

Everyone was just sitting within their own families and so there was no point to come as we were no longer eating 'togerher'

Food was mediocre, nothing to rave about. Would not come back and do not recommend for sports teams.

Terrible customer service, after calling ahead and making a reservation for 30 people we showed up at Chuck’s and our hockey team was “rejected” (yes that was the word used) we were told they don’t serve hockey teams…If you’re in Nappanee for a hockey tournament or game and are looking for a place to eat with your team, this isn’t the one! Try Jimmi’s across the parking lot!!
