Best soup of my life (Tom Yum Seafood). Great dumplings and freshly made sauces for each one. Loved the teapot my jasmine tea came in. Family owned business (husband and wife, Toronto expats) and food is made by the owner who we chatted with at the end of our meal. They drive to Toronto every week to get the freshest best ingredients and it showed in the soup today especially. It was so full of freshly mixed herbs and the flavor profile was really something special. Even the hot sauce at least tastes home made. Service was friendly, professional and frankly exceptional. It was absolute an surprise to me how good everything was and the place is nicely appointed and intimate. Truly a delight, made my weekend, my husband was as impressed as I was. Worth the drive to Napanee!

I took my sister here as a thank you for her help in care giving for me since I am Hemi-plegic. She loved the food so much she wants to go again the very next day. She ordered the Dino rib I ordered the rack of lamb the lamb was cooked perfectly and the sauce that’s Cameron the lamb was divine, incredible umami flavours thecowners came and spoke with us for a while such good people and my sister loved the vibe in there I love the food everything is made fresh nothing frozen you can taste the quality if you are in the area I highly recommend it!
We JUST went for dinner at Fools Kitchen & cant say enough good things! Do the dumplings remind me of authentic downtown Toronto? YES! But does the Dino rib offer serious competition to other steak houses in the region? IT BLOWS THEM OUT OF THE WATER!!! The meat was SO tender, well prepared & a huge portion! The prices were reasonable & the service excellent! What a delicious surprise in Napanee!

Came from Kingston to try Fool's. Excellent food and the service was superb. Service you expect but don't get at too many restaurants. Nice atmosphere. great drinks. Friendly staff working together as a team to serve the guests. Highly recommended!!

Fool’s Kitchen was such a special experience for us! Every dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. The service went above and beyond, with the owner even holding our baby while we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting and we left feeling completely happy and relaxed.
