The food was unreal. I got the katsu shrimp, shrimp dim sum and crab claw. Each one of these were the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The value for money was excellent as the quality is extremely high.

After seeking out a unique spot to celebrate my parent's anniversary in October 2023, we truly enjoyed the unique flavours and intimate atmosphere of Fool's Kitchen! The entire menu is made fresh to order, no preservatives and you can sense the pride that the owners share in creating the dishes for their customers to enjoy. This place truly delivers an upscale, cultural twist to Napanee's food scene. We look forward to another family celebration here!Parking: Located on the market square directly across from Napanee town hall, you can easily find parking on the street, or within short walking distance.

Really enjoyed the great good and friendly staff. Nice sunny spot. Pad Thai was great. Only thing I would change: just please offer ordinary pots of tea. They have these contraptions to make tea that are expensive (7$) and the tea is nothing special.

The food was absolutely outstanding and this unique, cozy restaurant delivers the most incredible flavours, balanced beautifully in every dish we gleefully savoured! From the very beginning it was perfection after perfection starting with the best vegetable spring rolls I have ever had, bar none. The humble spring roll is transformed into a delicacy with the variety of fillings, each in perfect proportion, expertly prepared and guaranteed to ensure you will only want these ones from now on. Next, came the pork belly so lucious and tasty that they were exquisite on their own without either of the sauces (mild and spicy) that accompanied them. Every bite was the kind of bliss reserved only for the rich and famous, yet here it was and we were enchanted. The shrimp pad thai was presented with two skewers of perfectly grilled, plump, tasty shrimp topping the pad thai noodles, seasoned expertly so that you get to enjoy the exquisite blend of flavours as well as little bursts of delight from minced garlic, lemongrass and cilantro. This is how pad thai is properly done without any need to drown such delicate noodles in overpowering sauces because the delicate flavours are rich and beautiful on their own. But just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the lemongrass chicken fillet arrived along with the sweet and sour pork. Delightful both and expertly prepared, we were all impressed with how the chef balances his dishes with expertly paired sauces, all freshly made in house. There was literally so much food that we took the rest home to enjoy for breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about this food, this place and the most amazing staff. I am so grateful they could accommodate the spice level of several guests so easily and the entire experience was a slice of heaven. Make a reservation and go - tranform your next evening out into something incredible!

Fool’s Kitchen is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had to date & stands out among all of the other amazing restaurants in the Kingston/Napanee area… the food is amazing & full of love & care, and the wait staff & team are just as lovely and incredible. Every aspect of Fool’s Kitchen feels welcoming and elevated… my partner and I went there tonight and the staff even went as far as to call ahead early when we booked a reservation to make sure our food was as we like it, & were extremely present, kind, and warm throughout our meal as well. :) its so lovely to go to a place where we look forward to not only the food, but the amazing staff team as well!! It’s such a gem of a restaurant and I’m so thrilled we found such a lovely place in the area.
