I was interested in visiting La Pizzeria because I heard Avril Lavigne was a fan. However, I suspect it might have changed ownership since then. There was a MOLD smell in the walls. The place looked dirty and there were like two pictures of Avril Lavigne only, just the smell of the restaurant. Didn't want to make me eat there. It smells like shrooms in the wall I left with it in 2 minutes Do not go to nappanee because you heard the pizza was great

I have Covid and can’t taste much and the spaghetti I had here was still the worst thing ever. Complete water in the bottom, two meatballs with a teaspoon of sauce that wasn’t water. Very disappointing, don’t get the spaghetti

pizza was really good but they seem to be moving away from the whole avril thing, maybe because new owners? anyways the pizza was very good and i would visit again if i was ever in the area. the place is very humid though so beware ?

On our Little Road trip we stopped for Avrils pizza ? Well worth the stop!
The pizza was very tasty. The owners extremely friendly. At the end of July the two will go into their well-deserved retirement after 43 years.

We came by to grab a pizza and ordered a medium with four toppings. Others in the restaurant were eating a Greek salad and the garlic bread with cheese. It looked so good. While we waited for our pizza to be made, someone else came in and ordered three sub sandwiches. All of the toppings looked so fresh. When our pizza arrived, it was piping hot and delicious! There was a lot of cheese and the pizza was cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and friendly. The décor could definitely use some freshening up, but everything was very clean. Ample parking out front and nearby.
