order spring rolls and a soup - no plum sauce provided for the spring rolls which made them very dry
and no crackers for the soup - very disappointed- and the phone number to call this location is NOT IN SERVICE !!!

Food is good, but it's surprising that everytime that you go, the pieces of chicken seem to get smaller and smaller all the time. I'm sure it's not just this location, but across the board everywhere. Prices go up, food size quantity for the price of goes down.

Staff looked miserable and talked like you were bothering them or like they didn't want to be there. They weren't rude just not happy and fun to deal with. I blame this squarely on management or owner as it seems like the owner is probably the cheapest person in the entire industry. we order a 1/4 chicken dinner and salad for 40 bucks and when we asked for cheese for our salad which it showed in the menu picture we were told in a very unfriendly tanner to go back to cash register and ask it isnt free... any basic thing you would expect they wanted to charge again for. Food was like warm and salad was smaller than pictured, portion sizes are smaller than usual . I would not choose to stop here again as the entire experience is just kind of sad. That many staff that miserable due to poor managment and greedy owners.

So we were on our way back from Quebec to Toronto. We decided to stop by at Harvey’s / Swiss Chalet. This was our first, only and possibly the last visit to any of their restaurants (franchises). I have not seen such an unprofessional staff so far. Our family consist of 3 people (2 adult and a 7 year old child). We kept standing at the counter for someone to come and assist us, there were 4 people in the staff area( 2 in the kitchen, one literally behind the counter just walking around and one standing in front of drive through window and occasionally coming towards the counter. We kept waiting for someone to come and assist, they looked at us and kept talking to each other about their days off and schedules. I thought they did not see us so I acknowledged by saying HELLO and EXCUSE ME. They looked at us and kept talking to each other and did not even bother to come and ask if we need any help. We kept standing there for 3-4 minutes and after seeing such an “amazing” customer service, we decided to leave and go to the KFC next door, which had an amazing and attentive customer service.

The owners of the restaurant/franchise, if you are wondering why the store is not making profits, try changing your team.

I ordered the quarter chicken dinner via doordash in Napanee. I received it on time but the fries were undercooked and the chalet sauce was watery. Need to improve on that.

I had a very disappointing experience at Swiss Chalet. The chicken I was served tasted old and was clearly not fresh. Shortly after the meal, I experienced symptoms of food poisoning, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning. This kind of issue is serious and points to a lack of proper food handling or quality control. I expected better from a well-known restaurant. I won’t be returning unless I see clear improvements in food safety and freshness.

Very disappointed with the meal. The fries were undercooked and the chalet sauce was so watery. The chicken was good but not able to dip in the watered down chalet sauce to enjoy… and $21 for a single meal 😕
