We've dined here on a number of occasions and always been quite satisfied. We stopped on our way home from Kingston for an early dinner on Dec 8/25. The waitress was prompt and good service in general. My wife ordered a clubhouse sandwich and fries which she had ordered in the past. When it arrived it was cut in two pieces instead of quartered as usual, no big deal. She had a couple bites and found it dry so she asked the waitress for some mayonnaise which she brought promptly. As we were getting ready to leave and got the bill there was a charge of $1.50 for the mayonnaise. I brought it up to the waitress when she brought the machine to pay and was told that anything that comes out of the kitchen they charge for. I said the sandwich was dry and that's the only reason it was requested. Know if we choose to go back will request mayonnaise on the side. Heard from friends that there has been staffing changes in the kitchen recently and quality hasn't been as good. Lesson learned.

We only stopped for drinks, so I can't give to much. From our travels to the United Kingdom, it had the British but with an Irish feel. We will definitely be going back.

The service was excellent, loved my dish, I had the Mediterranean chicken sandwich, it had so much chicken I couldn't believe it. The kiddos had juicy chicken fingers, fries and yummy gravy.

🤗 hi ;) Well the night I was there. It was a Karaoke experience. It has been years since I have been on a outting for anything thinking of myself what I enjoy, aswell as listening to a variety of different people personalities up singing,laughing and sharing talent. My friend Laura decided I was getting up to sing a song and was writing my name and looking at me puzzled thinking what my voice sounded like? Lol I look at her and I said you win but I'll pick what I'm singing okay! Well I SHOCKED MYSELF...I was actually impressed I think everyone at the Loaf N' Ale clapped as I finished. As surprising as it was how I did up in front of everyone I felt I fit right in with the crowd. I will look forward to going back again soon! Thank you for a terrific night with good food and service. Thank you to all the people who were participating in the Karaoke you made my night,week and year....lol
Food and service is good, not a wide variety of craft beers. Normal pub food. Poutine was delicious!

What a horrible early dinner experience. I can tolerate bad food but the service was abominable and our waitress clearly didn't want to be serving us. The food, pass with a shove on the positive the hancut fries were deliciously hot 10/10 however served after our food. We ordered them as an appetizer. Not a great or even good experience. Fool me once!
