I recently visited this sushi store with my son, and unfortunately, we both ended up getting food poisoning. Beyond the unpleasant aftereffects, the quality of the food was also disappointing. The sushi didn’t taste fresh, and overall, the experience was below expectations. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

Somehow over the years, this place has become worse than the worst "grocery store / fast food sushi" I've ever had the displeasure of tasting in my life. Sushi rice is not seasoned properly and is literal mush (see photo), soy sauce provided is chinese soy sauce (tastes very different from Japanese soy sauce for sushi), and all dishes has been flavoured and cooked with the style of a fast food chinese restaurant - and not in a good way, mind you.

No idea why other reviewers are giving anything more than a 2 star (I'll give them this: service was quick where your dishes are served and taken quickly, and the minimum default tip option on the payment terminal was 10%). Overall, if you consider yourself someone who likes eating sushi and actually want to enjoy a meal, do yourself a solid and avoid this place at all costs!

Pros:
- Lots of options including non sushi options
- Great price
- Fast service
- Overall decent food
Cons
- Food is decent but average, nothing special
- Servers took plates we weren’t finished with too quickly
- There was a bone in our General Tso chicken

The quality of this restaurant has declined significantly and is now among the lower-tier Japanese restaurants in Ottawa. The freshness of ingredients and taste have noticeably dropped, yet the prices remain the same. There are plenty of better Japanese restaurants in the city, so don’t waste your money here unless you have no other option. Hopefully, they improve, or it will be hard to justify coming back.

Have been going to this place for years, but I recently found the sashimi is not as tasty as it used to be, not sure why. someone told me restaurants could import artificial salmon from China.. I hope that's not the case.

Been there plenty of times for all you can eat sushi, everything on their menu is great and they have a lot of variety.

Got take out for the first time and it was just as good as eating in the restaurant.

Service is very quick.

Food is often good however if you order takeout, sometimes everything is covered in grease. Even if you only ordered sushi it sometimes happens that the tray is greasy.

Are these even Sushi's?
Crispy parts are heavily fried and greasy
Too much rice.
Service was good but the place itself could improve in-terms of overall cleanliness

Great all you can eat sushi and a variety of other Asian dishes. Very friendly and accommodating to special diets.

Vegetarian options: There are alot of vegetarian and vegan options.

Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating to glute and dairy allergies.

Kid-friendliness: Our kids were welcomed and treated well.

The worst sushi I've EVER had. Gocery store sushi is better than this by far. Sushi pieces like Nigiri, Uramaki use a lot of rice and little fillings/meat. This is to fill you up I guess. And the worst thing is the rice tastes and feels disgusting. And I'm someone who loves rice. I ended up getting other foods but they taste like Costco frozen food like the gyoza, shrimp dumpling. Also got the fried rice and it was Ok. Somewhat washed away the yucky sushi taste.

Service is fine and fast. The atmosphere feels dirty, so I stayed away from the Sashimi.

I went here a lot before the pandemic, and the quality really went down.
