Had an Atlantic wrap (salmon) for breakfast and it was delicious but the “famous” Allo mon Coco potatoes were not like they used to be. They were pale and no sign of being roasted and not like they used to be. This is the third time in 3 different Allo Mon Coco that that has happened. So i wonder if they have changed the recipe? Too bad because i LOVED the old version of their famous potatoes.
My husband had Eggs benedict with salmon and it was very good. It came with a big bowl of varied fresh fruits which were tasty.

On the other hand, regarding the service, the waiter was extremely nice and attentive.

My friends and I sat down at 2:45, nobody came to our table. We waited patiently for 30 minutes and still nothing. No water, no waiter, no nothing. We walked out and had a much better time at the popeye's

I was quite disappointed with the food quality today ( Nov 27th, 2024, 10:16 am)

It took less than 5 minutes from Ordering to Service which I though was quite fast (too fast 🤔) . This is what was disappointing about my Order ( Good morning - Cinnamon rolls)

Eggs were cold
Cubed potatoes were hard
Cinnamon bun was dry and stale
Bacon wasn't cooked (very floppy)

I don't know if I'll be recommending you to my friends and family again.

$64 to boot as well.

Coming from Quebec we were pleased to see this restaurant in Ottawa. The more recent visit was very disappointing. We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and quick. However the meal was not what we were expecting. The fruit bowl that came with the meal, had cantaloupe that was rancid. When we expressed this to our server she came back and said the kitchen staff would discard it all. We were expecting to have the fruit bowel replaced with fresh fruit or a discount to be offered. None of this surfaced and we left significantly unimpressed.

We had a lovely brunch!! The food was freshly made and tasted great! I had the Sunshine special, which eggs and sausage i enjoyed, but could not even start on the side crepe... it too much food!! I also had an Americano coffee. In total, $30 bill... so it is pricey in comparison to other places but a nice occasional treat. Our server was wonderful!! We went on a Monday morning. It was not too crowded or noisy (as other reviews have stated)... it depends when you go. Would be busy on the weekend

Kitchen staff swears like crazy and have outbursts. Don't sit your children near the kitchen. Great food but atmosphere really uncomfortable.

I can’t believe this place was as busy as it was. The service was friendly, that’s the only good thing I have to say. We were greeted and sat immediately and seen by a server quickly, however everything else was awful. I had the Coco Casserole, and it looked like it was made out of all processed pre-packaged ingredients. There was no flavor, no sauce, nothing to make it enjoyable to eat. My husband’s bread never came, and we never received milk for the coffee. No one asked us how the meals were, and we requested our own bills at the bar because no one ever came back to our table. I am happy to pay a premium for good quality food, this was shockingly expensive for absolutely abysmal food. Do not recommend.
