I don’t understand why people are rating this place so high. We just had a take out and we are very disappointed with the quantity and quality. For 18.99/meal. You get 5 pcs thin and small slice chicken 3 pc big potatoes and rice. Chicken are swimming in a very sweet and a very salty coconut curry sauce. Literally, 80% sauce and 20-% chicken and potatos. I know everything is expensive but this is ridiculous expensive. I do not recommend this place.. if you want authentic and good quality and quantity I would recommend going out of Barrhaven, go to downtown or chinatown and you pay less.

Small operation out of a gas station beside tim hortons. Tried first time Thai food here, very decent. Pad Thai chicken was sweet and flavourful. Food portion was also good.

Ordered Gaeng Khiao Wan (green curry with chicken, eggplant, broccoli, and pepper) and Tofu Pad Thai from Aroy Thai takeout today. The green curry was very spicy and flavorful, and paired perfectly with white rice. I would’ve preferred a bit more chicken and green in the curry, but overall it was satisfying. The Pad Thai had generous peanuts and the noodles were nicely cooked, not too soft and didn’t stick together, which is something that’s really hard to get it right. The spring roll was just average, especially compared to other Thai restaurants in town.

Delicious food, especially the pad Thai and pineapple rice. I believe I might have met the owner who gave kind and gracious service, and very accommodating for our large order! It tasted fresh even after a late pickup and drive home. Definitely would recommend checking out this small gem. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that I didn’t try them sooner!!

Food was delicious with generous portions, ready promptly for our pickup time—I arrived late but it still tasted fresh after the 10 minute drive home. Amazingly kind service as well! Definitely would recommend checking out this small gem. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that I didn’t try them sooner!

Wow, wow one of the best Thai restaurants I have tried and I have been eating Thai for 30 years in five countries. Deep flavors, tender chicken- not fatty, not tough- that is rare! Green curry, mango salad and pad Thai. We couldn’t stop commenting on how good it was. I know it’s in a gas station, but the woman has a full kitchen back there! I can’t wait to go back. Sorry the pictures are not great- I could not control myself lol.

I know I shouldn't expect much from a gas station takeout spot but ouf the reviews are not accurate. I got the green curry with chicken, pad Siew with beef, and spring rolls. The green curry was watered down and chicken overcooked. The pad Siew was flavourless and barely any beef. The spring rolls were the only redeeming part. Just barely. All of this was $53, no tip.

It's way to expensive for mediocre food. Just drive to Manotick for similar priced but better tasting food. I do not recommend this place unless you're truly desperate. Heck, I'd rather get rice from the Thai fast food place.

Authentic my backside.
Prices are all wrong online, went in to pickup my Pad Thai and whem I got home, there wasn't a veggie in it.
Pretty much paid $18.99 for $1.00 worth or noodles in ketchup and 2 extremely oily spring rolls. But I guess that's on me. I shouldn't have expected better from a restaurant in a gas station like a Tim Hortons.

Incredible! We stumbled upon this place driving by as we were craving Thai. Called ahead to place a take out order for a Vegetarian pad thai (with tofu and veggies) and a Red curry (with tofu and veggies), plus white rice. The food was amazing! Both dishes were full of authentic flavour. The red curry was well balanced with heat, sweet, sour, and salty. The pad thai was also well made. Highly highly recommend!

Ive order the tom yum soup a few times, so good. Tonight I got the red curry with tofu. It was amazing. The attention to detail on sauce, veggies and amount of protein is perfection. Love this place - def hidden gem.

The best Thai food I have ever had (and I’ve tried a lot of Thai restaurants in Ottawa). Their pad thai and vegetable spring rolls are particularly excellent. Highly recommend!!
