Very bad service The service was painfully slow, with our food taking over 30 minutes to arrive. When it did, it was cold and poorly presented, completely lacking any care or flavor. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested. Overall, a frustrating experience that didn't match the high prices. Will not return.

Ok, so I'm thinking how to write about this bistro. I am so appalled at the level of food here. We went for lunch and nothing was even close to ok. I even had diarrhea and vomiting after eating your tandoori panini sandwich. Why are you serving stale food which has gone bad? Your masala chai was from a vending machine and it had neither masala nor Chai in it. Your tandoori panini sandwich had no flavor of tandoori. Actually it had no flavor of anything! Your momos had literally cabbage sabzi with haldi as stuffing and the momos outer covering tasted like plastic. Aloo Burger was also horrible. My question is: Who has convinced you to open a restaurant? Why run a restaurant of all things when you know cooking is not your forte? It seems your chef has cooked his first dish ever today. Is your bistro a front for something else? I know this is an investment for you but stop playing with people's money! Your food is by far the worst, I have eaten in Canada. And I have sampled many restaurants in Canada. I refuse to believe anybody has had a positive experience with food at your bistro unless you have given them some incentive like a discount or something. I think a good review for you guys is definitely a paid review. I'm not a harsh critic of food, it's just that your food is not fit for human consumption. And please don't respond by saying we will improve, because there is nothing to improve. You guys need to be shut down asap! For anyone reading this, please avoid this place and save your money and health!

We were full with 1 burger, 1 wrap, 1 pizza (all shared between 2) and 2 milk shakes. But then we had ordered Makhani curry momos too 😄 so we had to carry it to home. But all in all Good food with good service 😊👍✨

It’s 11:43 am and I’m outside the Balista , it’s says open online but store is locked , tried calling their number but no one’s picking up the call .

I have been coming to this place when it was new
However we decided to order a pick up again and was excited to try their Indian delhi style Chole Chawal bowl along with our burgers and wraps

Have to say that they lost a customer for ever by serving some heat and eat crap that also in little quantity

It was absolutely amazing! Everything was just perfect – the food was super tasty, fresh, and full of flavor. The quality is top-notch, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients in every dish. The service was impressively fast, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

If you’re in Ottawa and looking for a must-try vegetarian spot, this place is highly recommended!

One tiny suggestion: the portions could be a bit bigger. A little more on the plate would make it even better, but honestly, the overall experience makes up for it. Can’t wait to visit again!
