My 10-year-old daughter read online, from multiple sources, that Baskin-Robbins gives a free scoop of ice cream to students who earn straight A’s. We’re regular customers, and she was so proud of her hard work and excited to celebrate with her favourite treat.
Unfortunately, this location doesn’t participate in that program, and she was really disappointed. What’s a small scoop of ice cream for a loyal customer, especially one who worked so hard? It would have been a simple but meaningful gesture.
Not only did this experience dampen her excitement, but it also cost the store a few loyal customers. A program like this could be a wonderful way to attract new customers and spread goodwill in the community. It is cheap and easy - marketing 101.

I went to this store on Saturday the 3rd of may around 5pm looking for a cake last minute and to my shock and surprise they had a huge variety of cakes available for me to pick from. I got the gold medal ribbon cake and the young man at the counter offered to write on it. Of course I wrote a message on the cake and while it was being written on the employee let me sample ice cream and gave me great suggestions on what the best flavours were. When the cake came out (about a 5 minute wait) it looked beautiful, with amazing handwriting and perfect spelling (No errors at all!!). Safe to say I will be going back as both employees (Young man and older lady) were extremely welcoming. Im about to go try the cake and I have very high expectations for it!!!
The very kind young man on Thursday night was very accommodating and helpful, made very good suggestions and made me want to come back. 5 stars!

Took my grandkids (10 and 7 yrs old) to BR after school for a treat and the 7 year old had his scoop fall out of the cone onto the floor. The lady who served us immediately got him another scoop, which I thought was so nice, until she handed me a second bill. She had a chance to do something nice, but charged us an extra $6. Won't be going back there!
