This is an update to a review I made on January 4th, 2026 of my experience at this location.
As soon as I posted my original review, I was contacted via email about my experience the next day by Boston Pizza Owner and The Community Relations Manager from the Hunt Club location. The swift responses from Boston Pizza and upper management at the location was greatly appreciated!
We discussed via email many things. Sue was very empathetic about the nasty experience my family and I had. She offered me to do a re-do but it cannot be re-done as it's too late and not his birthday if I were to choose to do this and as I said to Sue, the TRUST is gone!
Without hesitation, Sue did credit back the money I spent at the restaurant that afternoon with my family as it was the only solution left. As I said in my email to Sue, I will recognize the effort to fix this problem. I thanked her for the quick replies, quick fixes and suggestions to fix the issue. That's service! Sue did her job effectively! So it's very much appreciated!
Hopefully this does not happen in the near future to any customers that dine at this location. Examples: Bad food, ---(burnt pizza, wrong orders), bad service, poor listening skills. I only wish that there will be a positive outcome from this ordeal for Boston Pizza Huntclub with proper scheduling, properly training the staff --- (Hostesses helping the servers out effectively).

We came in for lunch today Sunday November 30, 2025 and we love this place. There were a lot of options on their menu. We were very happy with our server. I think her name is either Alexa or Alexis. We love her personality, outgoing and very warm. We will definitely be coming back. We live in the East end of Ottawa and we were just across the street at Nepean Putting Edge when we decided to have lunch here. This is a great place not just for lunch but dinner too. Thank you Boston Pizza.

Server was nice but super pushy about reviews. They have a contest going on for name most mentioned and our sever wouldn’t leave until we posted a review in front of them. Took forever to get food/drinks, etc. Positive reviews should be organic, not something servers should have to chase to get $250. Our server was very nice don’t get me wrong, but we felt uncomfortable with how pushy it was!
Had a supper get together with family. Our server Charlie, was very knowledgeable of our choices. Service was great. Thanks Charlie.

We came in today as a party of 12 with several kids, and our server Dorothy absolutely blew us away. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and so patient with the kids. She kept everything organized, made sure our drinks and food came out quickly, and checked in often without us ever having to ask. I’ve honestly never had service like this before it felt effortless on her part, but we know it takes real skill to handle a large group this smoothly. What stood out most was how much she went above and beyond she even helped us hand out cake for our celebration, which made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. Dorothy turned what could have been a hectic experience into something stress free and fun for everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. She’s truly amazing at what she does!
