I always go to this location ordering 2 large burrito bowls. Staffs never fail serving me a good food...I love it! Very welcoming Staff in the morning...always smile and happy. Great service. Food is fantastic.

I usually have no issues with the food but tonight its actually uneatable...im not sure if the fryer was dirty or if the oil was old but it was actually disgusting. Ive never had sour nacho chips...25$ down the drain

If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Mexican food, this family-owned burrito spot is a gem! The food is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor — you can really taste the love in every bite. On top of that, the service is outstanding — Harpreet (aka Happy) is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’ve never tried burritos before — this is the perfect spot to start!

We have been to multiple burrito gringo locations and have been provided really consistent food and service every time. The portions are huge for a good price and everything is homemade.
The service is always great and especially at this location Happy/Harpeet who served us was incredible. He was so lovely and enthusiastic and had a really good way of connecting with customers in a way that seemed very genuine (a very rare quality). Always love coming to burrito gringo when in the area.

The purpose of this review is to convey a genuine concern to the owner so that remedial measures can be taken at the store and to make other customers, with dietary and/or religious restrictions, aware of what I experienced so that they can take necessary precautions, as needed.
I visited the Burrito Gringo located on Strandherd drive on April 15, 2025 around 815 pm with the intention of purchasing a large veggie (tofu) burrito bowl. The customers in front of me ordered large burrito wraps with pulled pork. After the server placed the meat, beans and rice on their wrap, the server used their hands to pick out the vegetables and cheese directly from the buckets, without using the spoons provided for each condiment. The server placed these condiments on the wrap, squeezing them on the dripping pork, in order to fold the wrap. The server was wearing gloves at all times.
Using one's hand to pick vegetables and other condiments directly from buckets results in cross contamination between the meat and vegetables which dissuades people with dietary restrictions from ordering food. The restaurant offers tofu for vegetarians and presents a halal certificate on the wall, however if servers are using their hands to pick condiments directly from the bin and placing them on wraps that have meat on them, it results in cross contamination and it defeats the purpose of presenting vegetarian and/or halal options to customers. Spoons for picking condiments from bins are provided for a reason and servers should be encouraged to use them so that everyone is comfortable ordering their food.
I would encourage the owner to view any video footage to assess what happened and take necessary action to train their servers.
For customers that are seeking a vegetarian or halal option, I would encourage them to do their due diligence, as needed.
I felt uncomfortable ordering my food and left the store without saying anything but felt it necessary to raise awareness about what I saw.
Lastly, I don't mean to get the server in trouble. The server worked hard and interacted well with customers.
A little training and awareness would likely help address this issue and go a long way in making every customer feel welcomed at the store.
