Well, it seems like they deleted other reviews. We've tried the rainbow cake and the white cake with sprinkles on separate occasions. Neither tasted fresh, and the sprinkles were soggy, not crunchy like fresh- not frozen should be. It's overpriced, and the slices are angled in the machine to appear larger than they are. You can buy a larger, better cake elsewhere in the mall for less than the price of a slice of these slices. It's a novelty. We did want to try the carrot cake but it was switched out for red velvet, which didn't look appealing. ** Noticed yesterday it isn't permanently closed, but moved to a smaller, less visible location near Winners. Mall customer service didn't even know. So it's still there, but off the main concourse on the second floor.

We have been to Carlos Bakery in NYC and even bought cakes from the machines in the mall so I was absolutely shocked that the cake we bought had an undercooked layer and the icing was separating when eating as it’s made from cheap shortening . Was it fondant? Nothing about this cake was palatable. So gross I threw it out couldn’t even eat half of it. Vanilla rainbow is my favourite but I guess we will wait to be back in the USA cause if these are the same cakes that are in the machines now I won’t be buying! Disgusting. Iced cappuccino was decent and they didn’t add sugar which was great! My daughter had the strawberry rainbow which was much better than mine. After that disgusting experience I was scared to buy more things to take home.

Was not sure what to expect when walking in. Was impressed with the stylish facility as it did impress in terms of first look. We found the pricing a bit over priced as you must be paying for the artistry. For example one cookie of decent size was $4.99. This is a bakery in terms of desserts and pastries, NO bread or Cold cuts etc. there was not a large selection but I am sure you can find something you like. The small hot stove offered pizza slices and a few Sandwhiches. There is some Seating inside and out to enjoy your desserts or Sandwhiches. Also can get coffee and drinks here

It is fresh but tastes like sheet cake. I thought it would taste amazing with all the hype but it is typical confection sugar filling between sheet cake. Disappointed. (Bought a rainbow cake slice)

Came for the cakes, stayed for the roast beef and mutz (freshly made mozzarella) sandwich. Rosemary focaccia bread with in-house au jus! Sorry, nothing better on the planet! When I am hungry, my thoughts go back to this bite of heaven, with the most tender beef, ever. Pizza is amazing too. Topping ingredients and lots of it! Cakes and pastries….absolutely delectable! So beautifully decorated

Modeled after the New Jersey location in Hoboken which I went to a few years back. (though not as busy) . Good selection of deserts and ice cream (directly from Italy). Service was friendly. Close to the busy part of town, just east of the river next to the huge condo development going in across the road. Lakeshore road is incredible busy all through Port Credit on a weekend so it's hard to get any ambiance on the outdoor patio. Parking is tight in Port Credit though available if you look hard enough.

Completely over-rated! My husband said that the choc chip cookie he got was comparable to something at Loblaws - just eh! My cheesecake was grainy and flavorless (with no Graham crumb layer)! Didn't even finish it!!! The cake slices my kids had were good but nothing special. We were there on a beautiful Saturday night in busy Port Credit and the bakery was dead!!! We now understand why!!!

I have been to Carlo's bakery at Las Vegas and Philly, nothing really special in terms of pastry quality, taste, just overly priced in terms of value for money. The cupcakes at $ 4.79 each is too small and overly decorated with icing, but the cake itself is just average.. Individual cheesecakes the cookie and cream , individual blueberry 9.99 each again just too sugary.Cake slices- carrot was kind of broken in pieces even with the individual packaging; velvet cake slice nothing to write. about as with other slices. There is a lot of personnel, but the service is slow, the same as in Las Vegas. All in all bought about 30 pieces of cookies, pastries, eclair, donuts, cake slices, muffins...all overpriced . Even the gelato is not made by them, asked the server and she said it was made by anther company. It is more about hype, there are other Italian bakeries with better taste, pricing and quality.

I didn't care that it was -15 and windy - I stood in line for 20 minutes in the cold anxiously waiting for my turn to buy Carlo's Bakery lobster tails. Now - they aren't as large as the ones in NYC, but just as delicious! The Italian cream is to die for! I also bought a sandwich on their homemade focaccia with their homemade Mooz....it was one of the BEST sandwiches I have ever eaten! everything is amazing. Be prepared to dole out some cash - but worth every penny!

It’s great to finally have a location in Canada. It’s about 35 minute drive from the airport. We stopped there on our way back from holidays. Beautiful shop. Good selection and assortment of pastries. We also had lunch there. Pricey but not something we would do often. I have ordered the cakes a few times from USA website but unable to buy Lobster tails or cannoli online so this is a treat!

Nice work on the decor - however cake and cannoli was over priced for the quality an d freshness . I won’t be back to buy a cake there.. I ‘ll stick to my go to place that is more reasonable in price .. won’t go back unless I’m with someone who just wants to see the place since “Carlos’s bake shop has been on tv..
