Disappointed, not the Colonnade I'm used to, a bad smell as we walked in, badly stained carpet, broken toilet in the women's bathroom, rocky furniture etc, the food was not good, pizza undercooked, hardly any sauce on it and generally tasteless, atrocious service by bored waitress who never smiled, we asked for coffee and she said black only no cream or milk or sugar. Done with this place, never again, its giving other Colonnade Restaurants a bad name.
This Colonnade IS NOT like the others. If you think you'll get what you had in the past at this location, think again. This location doesn't have long to live if it keeps like this. Look at the recent reviews in the last 6 months and you'll understand. Should have taken them seriously.
1. As we opened the doors, we knew something was wrong. The smell and cleanliness dates from at least 10 years ago. It needs an update in there. No one was in the restaurant, a few years back, it used to be packed or almost.
2. The owner(s). As we walk in, we are greeted like we were bothering her. No welcome, no smile, very abrupt.
3. The food. We all had pizza and it's horrible. We expected Colonnade not their own recipe. Crust had no taste and was undercooked. Pizza was super thin, undercooked and the prices are insane, we understand inflation but you shouldn't cheap out.
With all of that, we left there very disappointed and will never return.
Shame to the owners for making this once upon a time excellent pizza restaurant, to now, one of the biggest a dumps we have been to in the last 5 years. 👎

Merivale location pizza did not live up to the usual quality from the Carling or downtown location. No sauce, odd tasting cheese, thin crust. Similar comment as others about overcooked texture. Would not recommend.
I grew up with the famous Colonnade pizza. This location was a huge disappointment. A small pizza $16.95 was smaller than expected, thin crust, runny sauce and about a tablespoon of grease on top. The large Ceasar salad I ordered was $18.95 but just was a bunch of cut up romaine, boxed croutons, and shredded mozzarella that probably came from a bag. The dressing which probably came from a bottle was on the side (I didnt ask for it on the side). Zero presentation. The food was fresh enough but no love or care. Service was polite and quick but the whole place felt unloved and ignored.
If you want true Colonnade pizza, best go to the Fairlawn plaza location.

So I just ordered pizza and chicken wings (mild) from Colonnade (Merivale). Ubereats delivered them. The pizza's were perfect. What made me disappointed was the mild sauce I ordered on the chicken wings. I don't know if they put the wrong sauce on, but after two wings, the heat from the mild sauce increased to a point, I could not eat anymore. I'm not kidding you, the burning on the tongue and lips took away from the enjoyment of eating them. Everybody's taste buds for flavour is different. The flavour (heat) was too extreme for me to continue eating them. Too hot for me recipe book. Big disappointment - I had to throw them away. Score - mild sauce ('0').

Went yesterday to dine in. It was so smelly. We came back out.
Edit due to owner's reply: Aroma? Are you kidding me? You can tell me liar but take a look at tge other comments. There is a reason you are the worst Colonnade pizza in the town. Inconsiderate, rude and self satisfied

Literally the only pizza place that I know it doesn't sell pizza slices. Now I understand why that place is empty.

Pizza was hot and ready when I pick ed it up. Over 30$ for mush and pepp on a medium sized pizza was over priced for a take out .
Very bad service person have to wait for half an hour for single order moreover staff is also so rude they don’t know even how to talk with customer
I hate writing this because I grew up eating Colonnade pizza and I’ve always enjoyed it. My experience tonight was so so. I find now that the pizza is very bare and barely any toppings or cheese. Just frustrated because I know Colonnade can do better. I pay a good price to get a good quality pizza and I feel that I didn’t get a quality pizza this time around

There was a 2 for 1 special on French fries, 1 order was $5.95. Between the 2 orders there's barely enough fries for one. Pizza was decent, good toppings, but overpriced for sure. That fry deal was a scam and ruins the whole experience. Many other pizza places to try instead
Worst pizza ever. They forgot to put pizza sauce on the pies! Seriously! I have lived and order from downtown location (the best) and landed up with the Merivale local. Sucked. Don't get pies from here.
Disgusting service. The old lady that can't be nice for once in her life is at the counter serving everyone. She has such bad attitude it is crazy. The food is literally frozen food that is watery. It is disgusting. I asked to use the bathroom and she had rolled her eyes ,and with attitude might I add, answered no. I thought I miss heard her and repeated myself "No?" and she said "No." and had crossed her arms. This is the worst service I have ever seen in my life. If you want to be treated like your in prison and being served by an adult who thinks she's all that with the mind of a teenager I would recommend going here. Other than that DON'T GO HERE.
p.s the restaurant either needs to be shut down or have some serious renovations. The carpets are disgusting and full of dirt, walls are peeling and for the food and service the restaurant matches it all. TERRIBLE PLACE TO GO TO.

Ordered a combo yesterday for supper. With all due respect, this is the worst pizza I have ever had. Absolutly horrible. Your better offwith frozen pizza from the grocery store.
It tastes as it always does, delicious. But what the heck did I get? I got a 17 inch pizza and there was next to nothing, thinnest crust ever and barely any sauce for the same price I always pay? Come on. Seriously disappointed with that, I've seen paper plates thicker than this pizza
