“We visited on New Year’s Eve. According to the web, they were open until 3 but they actually closed at 1. We arrived at around 12:45, but they still accommodated us and served us nice food. Service was great and food was the usual, amazing Denny’s quality.
Thank you for sorting us, so close to the closing time. Will visit again!“

“The STRAND, an undiscovered gem in Old Ottawa South, has so much to offer. A diversified menu, open and sunny indoor seating, a large outdoor patio and ample parking (often so hard to find in Ottawa). What puts the place at the top of my list if favorites however, is Tony, the on-site manager who treats guests as kindly and attentively as he would a cherished relative. Highly recommend.“

“Today, Feb6/2025 We.(4) went for a late lunch early supper, I ordered the Chinese food, the rice, the chow mein was awful, the ribs were at most ok, my husband had a Lasagna, he said the frozen one bought at grocery store are better and the garlic bread was a joke, a hot dog bun with a spot of garlic butter.... I sent my plate back and ordered a fry and BBQ gravy, the fry was ok and the gravy was flavored water, not thick like gravy, very disappointed! when came time to pay, I was charged 14.95$ for my plate, 7$ fry. I said to the waitress, I did not eat it, she was aware but the boss lady in back would only let her credit me 4$, so it cost 51.10$ for a terrible meal, will not be going back. Please don't waste your time going there“
