A wonderful sushi restaurant. They are attentive to requests, friendly and accommodating. I wish they carried soy paper.

Ordered:- black dragon roll (eel) ($12)- Philly roll ($10)- spicy crispy salmon roll (promotion)- Japanese cheesecake slice ($4.50)- classic bubble tea with pearls ($7.50)Order took an hour to be ready (ETA was 40 mins), but that worked fine for our schedule.Prices were quite decent.Sushi was good (esp for Barrhaven?)Cheesecake was AMAZINGBubble Tea was mediocre but I have had worse. Needs a stronger tea flavour. Pearls were good.Takeout only, no customer bathroom.Overall I would definitely come back!

My first time order at this place. Despite some negative reviews, I still want to give it a try.Well, it’s a disappointment. The sashimi of the 3 orders were not cut cleanly. As shown in the pictures, they are still stuck together. And it’s not just one piece, there are at least 6-7 sashimi not completely cut.For the sushi rolls, I have similar experience as other reviews . They are not tightly wrapped; hence the pieces are easily fallen apart. I also think the rice is also too dried & hard. The shrimp tempura were good though and that’s probably the best part

Delicious, fresh sushi! Very good portions :) The party platters, futomaki, and salmon avocado rolls are well-seasoned. The rice is flavourful and the seaweed has a nice, roasted flavour! Great little spot in Barrhaven

The sushis are very tasty, but they could be pressed a little more when rolling, because even before removing them from the tray, they already open. And the place is well organized, but that aquarium doesn't smell good and it looks pretty

Gotten takeout from them a few times now. We only order sushi from them.Pros: price is good for the size of sushi you get and it tastes good. Better than others in the area. They also have a good variety of menu items.Bubble tea is ok. They’re very sweet, taste like powdered stuff you used to get back in the day. I personally wouldn’t get it again just because Ottawa has so many options compared to back in the day.Desserts are kind of expensive for what they are. They taste average, but my family liked them because they’re not too sweet. I’ve had better before, but you can’t really compare them to bakeries or places in bigger cities.Cons: order preparation takes extremely long. I’m guessing due to popularity and not enough staff/space.The first time we ordered pick up, we had to cancel our order because the skip said our order will be ready in 1hour. So when we got there, they wanted 30mins more to prepare it. So we just cancelled it and went somewhere else.Food order volume is unpredictable, apps are not always accurate. I understand because I’ve worked somewhere with the same set up.So now, we strictly order delivery and pay the extra because even if we give them (assumed) extra time on top of the estimated time, we still have to wait in the parking lot.
