This was our second takeout order from here, and while the food was great, we had to wait 30 minutes past our scheduled pickup time. I understand delays on a busy Saturday, but that’s a long wait. Adding to the frustration, another customer received a gift card for their wait, while we only got an apology.
This restaurant is a small Italian gem in a mall in Barrhaven. Reservations recommended. Just returned from having an excellent meal here. The server was friendly and helpful in assisting us with what to order. The meal was hot on arrival. Can only say positive things about the restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
I come from Montreal. And I make it a point to stop by Porto a Casa Because it is so good. We had 5 o'clock reservation And we're told everything was booked up. A table to my right was empty and people that came in for takeout. Orders one was sitting down 1 was standing up.
