Ordered sushi (pick up) for a large group. There were some dietary restrictions. I have to say, Young who prepared our platters was so amazing to deal with. She was in communication with me via text and made sure everything was taken care to my exact specifications. Great experience. Great sushi. Would highly recommend. Ask for Young. She is the best!

I had the halibut as the main course and it was absolutely perfect !!!The only criticism I have is that there are only 2 fishes left in the aquarium !!!!! Please re-stock it (e.g., a clownfish, etc)

We did not enjoy our visit. Waitress Paula seemed very stressed and rushed. Always in a hurry, walking into a chair and leaving it crooked. Talking to people about her daughter. We had to talk fast. Stress on the customer. There didn't seem to be any supervision overall. Staff individually doing their own thing with long faces. We walked in at 16:15 and they didn't seem prepared to receive guests for dinner service. The "Wait to be Seated" sign was up but no one had eyes on the front. We walked in and found two servers, Fay and a young man, whose phone was playing loudly, were sitting at a table. He ignored us at first. As we started to make our own way inside Fay, who at first had her back to us, got up (also stressed) and took us quickly to a table. The food was good, decor is nice and the Sushi Lady seemed pleasant enough. The hostess showed up for work as we were leaving. The Kanata location has closed down. Is this one on life support?

Delicious menu, separate sushi menu is nice, attentive staff.I had scallops and the catch of the day. I enjoyed the take on scallop apples, with a maple, coffee sauce on arugula.

A comfortable place, with attentive and friendly staff. Good music, not loud. The orange creme brulee was excellent, the steak was delicious, and the meal as a whole was a delight.

I wanted to pass on my compliments to the person who cooked our lobster on Dec 24, 2023, it was beyond amazing. I'm from the Maritimes, and have only had lobster once that was as good as the ones i got from Lapointe's, so thank you so much. Amy

I enjoyed the trout about six weeks ago but this week found the meal to be just average. The mashed potatoes were runny and the tomato "confit" consisted of 2 tomatoes, heated. The server called me "dear" which is annoying. I'll go back again hopefully to find things have improved to the delicious meals that I expect from Lapointe.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lapoint Restaurant in Bells Corners, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This hidden gem has truly mastered the art of creating unforgettable dishes. The sushi at Lapoint Restaurant is, without a doubt, out of this world. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were immediately apparent in every bite. From classic favorites like the California roll to their unique and innovative creations, each piece was a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. It's evident that the sushi chefs here take their craft seriously, and it pays off in every mouthwatering morsel. For those who appreciate a different kind of culinary delight, I can't recommend their fish and chips enough. The fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the chips are the ideal accompaniment. It's comfort food at its finest, and the taste is simply amazing. Whether you're a fan of seafood or looking for a hearty, satisfying meal, Lapoint's fish and chips are a must-try.Equally impressive was the service at Lapoint. The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Their knowledge of the menu was evident, and they were more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. It's clear that they care about providing a top-notch dining experience.
