We had burgers, salads and wraps. Everything was great. Nice relaxed country atmosphere. Wait staff were very friendly. Place was clean. Prices were about $25 per person not counting drinks.

Went during lunch on a Monday. Unfortunately they didn’t have any burgers for their lunch specials ready because the meat was still frozen - bad planning on their end. Summer = lots of bbqing and the special I’m sure makes it more in demand.

The restaurant wasn’t too busy but it still took close to 1.5 hours from arrival to receive 2 orders of fajitas for 2, and over 10 minutes after asking for the bill we had to stop another server. Left feeling disappointed...

In one word, Lone Star is reliable and that's because it's always consistent. For over 25 years, I've been many times, and not only to the various locations in Ottawa, but also to the ones in Kingston and elsewhere ... and every time, it's been a great experience.

A few times, I experimented and tried a different plate, but 80% of the time, if not more, it's been those delicious make-your-own fajitas. The unlimited sides and unlimited...
