Maverick's Donuts, Barrhaven

Delicious donuts, they have more of a donut texture than a cake texture which I appreciate. They also offer their leftovers on TooGoodToGo for a great deal!

It is definitely ten times better than tummies, but it's a little expensive imo.

Very happy with the customized donuts we purchased for a retirement party. They were able to add an image of our logo as well as an image of the person retiring to the top of the donuts. Plus the donuts were decorated in colours matching our logo.
They delivered them on time to the Morning Owl coffee shop across the street from our office (through terrible weather mind you).
They looked great and tasted great, and they were one of the highlights of the retirement party. Great Work!

Can't say enough about the amazing customer service I reccive here everytime I come in. Today was even more exceptional, I don't recall the lady's name however she is one of the co-owners with her parents and we had a great chat about how she went to Algonquin for baking then did personal training for a while then during covid went back to baking. She was so personable and just super kind and caring. She made the experience that extra special for us. Especially as i was in today with my clients who is on the spectrum who has difficulty with boundaries and she was amazing and so kind and understanding towards him. Thank you guys so much for such a wonderful location to come to. It is by far my favorite location to visit. Of course I have to rave about the amazing donuts 🤤 will definitely be back again soon!

Maverick's has always been a favourite dessert spot for me! My husband and I decided to do donuts for our dessert at our recent wedding - they were the perfect addition and a huge hit with our guests! Thank you to the Maverick's Barrhaven team for their excellent service and delicious treats. It brought so much joy to us on our special day!

Ordered an apple caramel and Berliner. Apple was pretty good but I split open the Berliner to share it and found literally a drizzle of filling. Showed the staff at the front and asked if this was normal. She said there’s usually more but that it was weight based and she just shrugged it off. Pretty unsatisfying experience overall.

We ordered custom doughnuts online and it was a fantastic experience! The manager was kind & prompt in responses. I gave a few parameters (candy theme party, listed a couple candies) and they took the idea and ran. We LOVED them. Highly recommend this store :)

Maverick Donuts is a fantastic new addition to Barrhaven, and it’s so convenient to finally have a spot like this close by! No more long drives for quality donuts—they’ve brought them right to the neighborhood. The donuts are delicious, and you can tell they’re made fresh daily, with a great variety of flavors to choose from.

What really stood out to me was how helpful the staff were. They made excellent recommendations and guided me through their selection with a lot of knowledge and friendliness. It’s refreshing to have such a high-quality bakery here, and I’m sure it’s going to become a local favorite in no time. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

I stopped in Mavericks this morning with my two kids, and was so glad I did. The staff was amazing, so kind and went out of their way to make my day. The vegan donut made my kids day being dairy intolerant it’s such a treat to be able to get a dessert they can have. The coffee and donut I had was off the charts. Thank you for making our day!

Big thanks to Abby who I spoke to on the phone for a last minute father’s day order after the gift I had ordered online for my dad got cancelled. Even though they ask for 48h custom order notice, she was able to accommodate my 24h notice. Super kind, knew exactly what I needed, and got the job done EARLY! Her sister was at the counter when I came by to pick up my order and was equally sweet. Thank you to these two lovely gals for 10/10 service and for saving the day!!!! :)

How about not acting like it’s a moral failure that I happened to call 3 minutes after closing to ask when you closed? “We are RUSHING to clean and answer the phone”. I didn’t ask whether or not I inconvenienced you, I asked if you were still open.

Holy. That’s some rough customer service skills.
