McDonald’s is honestly one of the better late-night McDonald’s locations around, mainly because of the service. If you ever come here at night, ask for Emily at the drive-thru window, she’s genuinely one of the friendliest and funniest employees I’ve dealt with and always makes the experience better. The food is what you expect from McDonald’s, nothing fancy but consistent, and the McChicken is usually my go-to. Even when I tell myself I should go on a diet, the great service keeps pulling me back. Fast, friendly, and reliable late-night spot in Barrhaven.

I ordered takeout today at 4:13 PM (Dec 28, 2025) using the kiosk, counter number 802. Unfortunately, one McChicken was missing from my order when I got home. I checked the receipt and it was clearly listed. Please make sure orders are double-checked before handing them out, especially for takeout.

I ordered 3 junior chicken they just gave me only mayo and bread i was waiting so long fron uber they dont get any reply back to the driver whom i told everything about this very bad service from here

Ordered 2 cheeseburger happy meals ... I guess in future will need to check order before leaving. Received 2 chicken nugget happy meals ... no dipping sauce for the nuggets. Called asking if they can drop off. Nope they will not do. Asked me to come back tomorrow. I noted meals were needed for tonight
They said would mail coupons... gave my address but I doubt will ever receive as person on phone never even wanted my postal code.
Person at their counter seemed more interested in my car than getting order correct as asked if was my car.

This is one of my new fav McDs - my BigMac order was actually hot to my delight! The coffee was done right as well and the fries were fresh.
Staff were also friendly and the time to get my order was under four minutes (which I’m not used to these days).

Very slow service. The person at the cash didn’t seem to know how to speak to customers properly. I waited more than 40 minutes for my order. Really disappointing experience — not sure how McDonald’s hires people who aren’t trained to handle basic customer service.
No refills on drinks. Franchise owner must be a cheapo better off going to other locations close by like Kanata that offer free refills. Also, if trying to dine-in they don't offer napkins/straws/ or ketchup. Have to use ketchup packets when eating in. Ketchup packets should be for takeout only. Also got rid of the kids playground one in bells corners kept there's. Very disappointing for a customer experience who has a two year old.

Most of the staff is nice and kind. But I saw a female staff member vaporizing in the top floor of the building and it smelled quite bad. Good food but have some concerns.

Asked for a sausage McMuffin meal at drive thru which I order around 3 times per week. Today it came with no egg on it, paid same price as always. Wasn't upset but drove back to exchange the sandwich. After I explained I was told it would not be replaced because I didn't specify with egg! Soo why was it the same price? Was told yes price is the same and I need to specify with egg next time! Good thing Wendy's is close by.... Will eat there going forward, better customer service.
