One of my favourite local Chinese restaurant. Feel in love with the food when I moved to the area, and order from uber when I just want an easy night. The combination plate is always stuffed to the brim with food that tastes amazing. The wanton soup is always hot and tastes delicious.

Terrible experience. The woman who took my order was very rude and condescending. Food was pretty bad, tough and stringy chicken and flavourless fried rice. I would recommend any other Chinese establishment than this one. Stay far away.

Not bad at all. The food arrived to my room hot and fresh off the griddle. The rice was plentiful and delicious. Not over sauced at all. Alot of places add sauce while preparing the meal and it is way way overpowering But not this. It was full plates and fresh. Well seasoned and again hot. I ordered a combo plate. Fried rice with Teriyaki chicken and beef and vegetables half and half. Again,, this was so so good and plentiful. Had enough for lunch the next day. 4 out of 5 on this one. I would have liked to have seen the full portion of the plate used for the entrees and the small sections used for the rice.

This is the service I ever had. The owner is a stonehead. She wouldn't give me the food because I "haven't confirmed the order" even though I already confirmed it and she saw me while I was conforming but because it haven't updated on her side yet she refused to give me the order. I tried to explain to her multiple time but she just decided to ignore me. She lost me time/money when I was on the job.

first time ordering , and last, cathay house was closed so.......orderered two combo plates and a dozen egg rolls, egg rolls had an odd smell and taste, horrid, the chicken balls were saturated in sour sauce and were mainly just dough, the rice was tasteless and the generak toa chicken was pieces of fat and skin, also horrid.........it was a lesson learnt....... gabriels pizza would of been better...........CATHAY HOUSE , much much better qaulity........waste of money
