Authentic Cantonese food, this is the kind of place you see families of Chinese people eating. But also "authentic" Cantonese restaurant service and atmosphere, which may not be up to par for most westerners unless they expect that kind of vibe. Westerners who come here may benefit from having a Chinese friend with them or really know their Chinese food!

My new favorite spot for dim sum. It's unfortunate that places like sea king and yangtze have gone down hill so this will be the new spot for me. Reminds me of the dim sum i always loved.
Edit: Tried the regular menu items via takeout. I'd say it's not as good as the competitors SK but pretty decent still.

Food is okay. Service was horrible, had to call a waitress over to take our order after waiting 10 minutes. Had to ask three times for water. When we went over to pay, the guy gave us the total of the bill without letting us see what they rung us up for. After asking for an itemized bill, they just gave us a merchant copy of the receipt. What a joke. Will not be coming back.

Rude smirking male cashier wearing glasses and a cap. We asked to see a detailed bill and he kept insisting to giving the menu where we ordered dimsum without the prices. Not sure if the taxed us since it’s still no tax until February.
Consistent bad in person service.
Maybe takeout if you like the food to not have to deal with this
All my food came out lukewarm at best. From the time I handed in the order I waited 30 minutes just to get 3 dishes. I asked for a coke and ended up getting a Diet Coke after 10 minutes and after the same server walked by at least 6 different times. Never coming back.
Edit: as I was leaving my co-dinner saw a waitress leaving the washrooms with her gloves on.
