This was our first time ordering pizza from San Marino, I just had to see what the hype was all about. I thought the pizza was below average, not exactly what I hoped for and the rest of my family felt no need to order from there again. Really it just didn’t pass the test, sadly. I also found the taste of the olives a little disappointing, it had a strong different taste unlike Unico olives the most favoured, this one reminded me of the green olives you buy at Middle East stores, different, and not my type. Also the pizza was swimming in cheese, not the good kind, perhaps less would have been better, and lastly the crust was a bit dry, it missed the soft from inside and the right amount of crisp from outside, this one was a little dry from inside and out. Overall, their pizza was a disappointment, neither my family nor myself will order from there again. Waste of time and money!

This place used to be my favourite pizza but has been on a steady decline. I’m not sure if the owner sold it but this new group of guys working here are ruining the legacy. The quality of the pizza is no where near what it used to be. After getting 3 burnt pizza in a row with the boxes covered in greasy fingerprints ( not to mention how thin the crust is now) I just can’t justify spending my money here. Very sad as this was a barrhaven top spot growing up here. Owner would have been better off just closing and retiring then letting these new guys destroy all that he built.

Ordered and picked up 15 minutes after I called. Thought it was odd that there was no “smell” as I drove home. Got home to find a pizza that clearly was reheated and not fresh out of the oven. Very disappointed.

I have been going here since I was a kid! As a barrhaven kid no matter where I lived ( Aylmer or East end ) , I always go here! I don’t mind the drive as the pizza is a staple in our house! But the past few years it keeps getting worse! The pizza is thin now, the crust is hard! The taste is the same but it’s just not the same pizza and hasn’t been in recent years! Looks like I will need to find a new pizza place! It’s sad because I always would tell everyone about this place and it’s just not the same as it was!!

I grew up eating San Marino pizza. When I moved back to Barrhaven, this was the first place I ordered from, bringing back some good memories of the family enjoying pizza. I love the pizza and absolutely love the people.
