Staff member was sitting on counter when I walked in, didn't wash hands and continued using their cell phone while making my drink ... this is the 2nd Second Cup I've seen this at. Gross violation of health unit guidelines.

The staff are always friendly but I have a huge issue with management that has gone back for years with no signs of change. There is only ever one employee who is doing everything: taking and preparing orders; cleaning; restocking. Meanwhile, there is always a line or someone to serve, to there is no relief for that poor employee. No break, not even to use the bathroom.
My cappuccino was really bitter but I didn't want to complain because the server was already running off his feet.
The owner needs to not be so cheap and keep two staff members on at a time. I love the Second Cup but I'm less inclined to go when there's only one perso behind the counter.

Wonderful café Tucker in busy Barrhaven. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and offered different options based on likes and dislikes.

First time ordering from a second cup in my life. Ordered through Uber. I love how one of the baristas took the time to write me a note!!! So nice & sweet. I appreciate it so much and I smiled when I read it. The coffees are amazing and super hot. My son said "this is the best hot chocolate I've had"

amazing service at this location!! i have been going here for a while and i always have had not only a good experience, but a genuinely great experience. the workers here genuinely care about making your day. they also have a variety of great drink options and lots of seating. id go out of my way to say its the best cafe in barrhaven :)
