Their Thaali is really good and filling. Service is great and the ambience is good. The owner of this little restaurant is so welcoming, and it really felt like home.

Shaan Curry House is a Staple in the west end for over 30 years, I have been a loyal customer for about 20. The past few times I have went, I didn't see Pal at the cash or restaurant and noticed that the curries tasted a bit off (Watery) with not as much meat, specifically the chicken & beef. I always order the BIG meal. So I asked the lovely lady at the counter where Pal was and she let me know he is semi-retired now and only works 2 days a week, I am happy for Pal and hope he enjoys more time with his family. That being said the amount of meat and the flavors need to be addressed and the new folks running the show are extremely kind and inviting, it's hard for me to justify the 24$ for my BIG meal with that amount of protein and the flavor being watered down (More Liquidy) I will say that the taste is still good just not as it once was.

Seems to pay people to spam ads all over Facebook groups nonstop, won’t ever eat here because they think spam is okay.

This business spams ads all over unrelated groups. Dont support companies that actively create digital noise.

This was the worst food i ever had…completely tasteless food…i wasted my $50…i think there are selling frozen naan and chickpea curry was stale..i never had better food anywhere else in ottawa more than indian food hub❤️ their food’s quality,quantity and taste everything’s amazing but other than indian food hub every restaurant is waste of money

Shaan Curry House is a fantastic Indian restaurant with rich, flavorful curries, fresh naan, and warm, welcoming service. Every dish tastes authentic and freshly made — a must-visit for Indian food lovers!

We had take-out. The food was alright. The beef curry was better than the lamb. The lamb was just fine, not bad, not great. I wouldn’t say anything bad about the food. I also would not recommend it. It was ok.
