As a contractor I like to eat shawarma anywhere i can around ottawa for lunch. This place has the potential to be one of the best ones I've been to woth a few small tweaks. The beef was perfectly seasoned no hard cartilage or funky taste. Garlic sauce could be abit fluffier and a little less garlic in the sauce mix it's abit over powering just abit. The bread is a stiffer Lebanese type bread and can make the sandwich abit chewy although it had good flavor. I would suggest a fresh sage bread similar to the one on westboro street. Potatoes have amazing flavor but abit soft if they were crispy they would be perfect. The rice was well cooked but another option to have some more flavourful rice would be good. My beef shawarma large only has onion lettuce and tortilla chips for toppings so I would say to the staff when people don't add alot of produce especially a large sandwich that costs 15 bucks it should have a little extra meat so is a more filling meal as it's alot for just a sandwich. If those things were tweaked it would be one of the best in ottawa if not the best. Sage bread especially and the garlic sauce to be less garlic and more fluff to it. Cheers great meal none the less
